We had a pretty frustrating experience at Blue Mountain Village. Initially, the check-in was fine, but we decided to extend our stay because of the weather. The front desk suggested we check out and then check back in the next day to avoid an extra deposit, which was a bit inconvenient but we went with it.
The next day, they did let us extend, but then they forgot to activate our parking cards, so we had to reverse all the way out of the garage and go back to fix it. On top of that, housekeeping never showed up the entire day we extended, so the room wasn’t refreshed.
When we finally checked out, we realized they’d overcharged us for two nights instead of one. We had to call and talk to a supervisor to get that fixed. Even after that, we noticed another random pending charge on our card that we never authorized. So all in all, it was a pretty disappointing stay with a lot of hassle we didn’t expect.
