I love the whole aesthetic and Japanese style, not to mention all the anime! As an Anime lover myself it was so much fun finding all the hidden figurines such as Attack on Titan flying over head or Vegeta protecting me in the bathroom. The staff was amazing and friendly. Spoke limited English and even surprised me with a strawberry sundae for my birthday!

This is a very cute inn with a lot of personality. The owners are very gracious and have put their personal touch on everything. Just a couple minutes walk from the shore of Lake Biwa.

Absolutely the coolest place we have ever stayed! A very inventive and unique treatment on a traditional Japanese house. Cool things everywhere. The host family was very hospitable and ready to help with anything we needed. Very convenient to Otsu and Ishiyama area. We will certainly return here again!
