Vessel Inns really growing on me. Rooms are usually bigger than most standard Japanese biz hotels with free 'proper' coffee in the lobby an added bonus. Breakfast at the downstairs bakery also good.

Etablissement se situe à deux pas de la station de train. Ça prend 30 minutes au max pour aller à Kyoto. Dejeuner est très bon, choix de patesseries est large et elle est très bonne. Les chambres sont petites, c’est difficile de ranger deux valises standarts.

Nice Stay

Hotel checking was easy, quite area and room was clean and tidy well maintained. 30 Mins on a train to center of Kyoto but the station is right next door so really easy.

Everything was fine for vessel inn its a chain hotel where we stayed while we were in Hokkaido. The service in Hokkaido was good. But the service of this particular Vessel Inn in Moriyama Ekimae is not so good as I've booked the room with 2 adults and 1 child of 12 years old for 2 nights. The first night there were lacked of slipper, tooth brush, pillows, towels for my child. When the maids clean our room the next day, not only they took out the pillow and again they left only 2 sets of each amenities. where my husband had to get it from the front desk and the worker still ask him to pay for towels of 100 yen it was absurd.
