Great complex with everything you need. Exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room to host family reunion and outdoor deck provides additional space. Location offers views of west Okoboji lake and walking distance to O'Farrell's sister food joint. Hosts were attentive to any/all needs. Look forward to next trip!

Really awesome place! Checking in was really easy and the amenities were great. The backyard was very scenic and relaxing. A family of deer took a walk through the yard each day. The whole house was very cozy and had a really nice cabin feel to it. 10/10 would stay again!

Amazing!

What a great time and awesome place to stay while in Okoboji! Harper was extremely helpful and we loved the house. Quick access to everything during the day, and super peaceful at night. We will be back!

Peaceful Summer Retreat

This property is such a fun, quirky, cute find. My college roommates and I stayed here for a girl's weekend and enjoyed the centralized location for visiting Spirit Lake and Arnolds Park. Close enough that it doesn't take long to get anywhere yet the property itself feels isolated and private. Very clean and cozy with comfortable beds! Harper was easy to contact and quickly addressed any concern we had (which was very minimal). Highly recommend!

Perfect Boji Stay!

This property is very well located in the Okoboji area and sits in a private lot with a lot of nature surrounding it. The house is well appointed and was very clean. Perfect for families and friends as it is an open concept! Also, plenty of parking for a boat and several vehicles. Our friends enjoyed the home and many amenities!!

Dad’s Birthday

What va great property, my family stayed at the property and threw a birthday party for my Dad entertaining my brothers and their kids and grandkids. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play and go to the park and everything we needed to cook and entertain.

Wedding Shower Stay

The VRBO was excellent! Close to everything which made it even better! Don’t let the yard on the property scare you. It’s wonderful inside! Very clean and the manager was great to work with! It’s a hidden gem!

Did not feel safe also not clean

The upstairs bedroom has visible mold on the ceiling. The spot is large around 3' x 3' spot. The front door hardly shut with visible gaps. Every night we were awaken from some type of pump going off down stair lasting up to 5 min. multipole time. The house had 2 unlockable doors from basement and garage. These doors could be entered at any time. This just seem creepy to me. I know Okoboji is very safe, but I still did not feel safe in this house. Last there is no window shades in kid bedroom, upstairs bedroom etc. would be nice to have not felt like someone could be watching you.

Spacious home.

We needed a place for family to meet although it was only two of us staying overnight. Really interesting, nice property!! Lots of deer out back! The bed was comfy, but the living room furniture- no one could sit in it and be comfy. Otherwise, a super place!!

Gorgeous house in Okoboji

This house is beautifully decorated and right in the heart of Okoboji. Within walking distance to many things, even in the wintertime! We were pleasantly surprised with how big the entire place was, we werent sure from the pictures exactly what to expect. Would 100% return next year. Perfect space for people of all ages and absolutely gorgeous. Lots of wildlife, too.

Best Weekend

We could NOT have been happier with this rental. I grew up in Okoboji so coming home to spend the holidays with family is always special. This Vrbo hadn’t come up on our search prior and we couldn’t have been more surprised & happy. The owners are local, we’re more than accommodating and so responsive. Our kids LOVED the nature walks in the back yard, seeing all the deer, squirrels and turkey out the back door and the tree house/loft we had NO idea about was the best place for hot chocolate and a book at the end of the night. It was also very spacious, we spent most of our time at the house rather than my father’s! Spudnuts is just down the road, if you haven’t been: GO. Location is great, so close to the lake. I hope this is available every time we return home - will definitely book again!!

Great Stay!

It was a beautiful house in a great location! We loved that is was close to everything but you felt very secluded. We also loved the deck. The only thing I would note is there aren’t curtains or blinds in the bedrooms. But I would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful wood-like feeling of the property works great with the Scandinavian vibe of the house itself. We saw a deer in the back and then there was one right un the driveway! New appliances, beautifully stocked kitchen, the house had everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Great Place for Our Family

The house was very nice and everything inside appeared to be new. The location was easy to get to all the place in Okoboji. The property has a ton of flowers and mature trees so felt like you’re secluded.
