Pleasant Surprise

My family had a great stay one night stay at this Best Western in Ogden, UT! Staff was helpful and friendly over the phone and in person. One of our deciding factors to stay at this property was that BIRDS are welcomed as pets and my parents had their parrot with them. We were pleasantly surprised by the actual DOG PARK on site and well manicured grounds. We had our golden retriever and shih-tzu mix with us who were both happy and comfortable roaming free in the fully fenced dog park (split into a large dog side and small dog side). I enjoyed walking them around the property which includes a peaceful koi pond and waterfall. The included breakfast was hot, fresh and tasty. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, waffles, bagels etc. My only gripe would be that the rooms are overdue for a remodel. We had two rooms and both were outdated and showing normal wear and tear from age. Despite that, my family would stay here again!

The bathtub and sink were clogged. The restroom light was out the whole 4 nights we stayed there. A man came by he said he had a meeting and never returned. No discount or anything was offered by the front desk. Just a so sorry to hear that. I will not return.

It was a nice hotel, when we originally booked we were thinking paying extra for a balcony meant we were getting a beautiful view of the zen garden area. This was not the case. We had a balcony of a parking g lot. I called the front desk when we got to our room to see why. Employee could’ve cared less about this. Very poor customer service unfortunately. The parking lot is hard to access due to a very busy road. It was an ok hotel but way overpriced for what we paid!! Drive up the road a ways and stay at the Alaskan Inn!!

I always stay at this place when I get the chance. Great breakfast, fantastic grounds park-like grounds, Friendly staff. Below market rate for the quality they offer. Only dissatisfier is pool hours - classic 10 am to 9 pm prevents real people from using it. At least open at 7 so morning people can take advantage.

The walking paths and koi pond were spectacular! We had two dogs with us so it was great to be on the ground floor and there were lots of very nice grassy areas for them, too! The room was fine and met our needs, but it wasn’t super clean. There was no mini fridge.
