Absolutely loved staying at Lavern’s Place! Lavern is a gracious and attentive host! The property is spotless and beautifully maintained, with a relaxing pool deck that’s perfect after a day of exploring. Just a short 10-minute walk to the beach and a shopping mall. The room was cool and comfortable with a lovely view of the peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Lavern’s Place was the perfect for my Ocho Rios trip. It’s super clean, safe, and located in a quiet area just a walk away from downtown and the beach. I went for a morning jog and felt totally at ease — even passed kids on their way to school. The AC worked great and the views from the room were a bonus, including the nice pool! The host was great too, everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

The facility did not look like the photos online. When I arrived there was no running water. The furniture was outdated and didn't appear clean. The owner is nice and understood my reasons for leaving. I had to find another place for myself and family to stay at the late minute which was a huge inconvenience.

The property was very nice and lovely. The room was small but very cozy for us and the perfect location where we could walk/drive to downtown Ochi events. Lavern property is very secure and safe. Thank you to the ladies at property. See u guys again sooner than later.

This is a well maintained, reasonably priced and conveniently located guest house close (5 minute drive) to central Ocho Rios. My room was clean and spacious with efficient air conditioning, comfortable bed and a walk in shower. Guests are able to use the luxurious kitchen facilities within the guest house including a large brand new refrigerator. There was ample secure parking for my rent a car. The guest house was very quiet overnight so I got a good nights sleep whilst staying here. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Ocho Rios.
