Beds were clean and the staff are nice, but rooms are out dated. We were in the main tower. There is also a resort fee if using a third party to make the reservation. Kids enjoyed the pool and food and drinks are good at the restaurant.

New upgrades and Great poolside bar

Front desk was great. Hotel looks like it was recently painted. Carpet in hallways looks new. The Hook Up poolside bar was recently updated. Its much a bigger space and the menu options are great. Angie the bartender is fantastic.

I am very displeased with my stay. first out room had problems with the air and we had trouble sleeping due to it. Someone checked the room and it didn't stay working. we finally got another room and then we had issues with out toilet. They phone wasn't working properly in the room either. We stepped out for a little bit and put the do not disturb sign on the door since our wallets and what not were in the room. Someone went into our room and changed out our towels and what not and we didn't want anyone to go in there. I paid a lot of money to stay there and I am not happy with how it happened.

The tidelands was by far the best choice I could make for my Ocean City stay. Accommodations were clean, extremely spacious, and well equipped. I have been a gas multiple times in the past and will continue to be a guest in the future. Everything is walkable that I want to go to and I can usually get an oceanfront room for about half the cost of the competitors!

We typically stay here for our beach vacation and always have a great time. I decided to stay here in April ( off season) for one night due to an obligation I had in the area. I was not able to control the temperature in the room, the tv didn’t work, there was no hot water and when I used the bathroom, there was urine in the toilet. I was very disappointed. Again, when we stay during the regular season, we enjoy staying here.

Summary of my stay

Check in was great. Our tv only showed 3 channels, instead of 70. We told the front desk, but nothing was done about it. The room phone didn't work, but we only needed it to call the front desk. Kitchen faucet dripped, which was taken care of. Fire alarm went off at 1am, firemen cleared the building for us to return, but the blinking light of the, in our room, wasn't reset & turned off for over an hour! The beach view was beautiful.

Beds are super comfy! Staff was friendly and helpful. Kitchenettes are small, but nice to have to cook breakfast. Did not have enough kitchen wares, so we went and picked up paper plates and plastic ware. No dining table but room to bring a folding card table to eat at. Being right on the water, can see salt water damage, but they are in the process of renovating the pool. The little onsite bar is great! Bartender was a pleasure. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we are going back in September.
