Over all good value for the price.. Pros: Large rooms, two thermostats so people on the pull out couch can be comfortable, ceiling fan in the bedroom. Cons: Rooms and decor are very dated, bathroom door opens inward almost touching the toilet so if the person in the bathroom needs assistance it’s not going to happen, shower curtains are just fabric and practically flooded the bathroom from one shower. Overall a decent place to stay!

Others stated the breakfast was great. It was just par. Fine but not great. The hot tub blows cold if you turn on the bubbles - and no bubbling actually happens - just cools down the hot tub. Bummer. Otherwise, the room was nice and the bed was nice - both very clean.

We stayed at a Homewood suite in Orlando last year and it was awesome, maybe because it was new and everything was updated. So I thought maybe all Homewood suite were the same. Nope this one in Ocala Florida was terrible. It was old. We found 4 Q-tips in the unfold able coach. Ewww. It was disgusting.

We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay some place with a nice pool and unfortunately the pool was the one thing that fell short. Overall the room and common areas were in great condition, clean and welcoming. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast was rather tasty with a good mix for everyone. The pool was somewhat dirty and neglected beyond dumping plenty of chlorine into it. The hot tub was in disrepair and full of leaves. Right after we got into the pool a woman in a van pulled up and dropped her 6 kids off to swim. I'm pretty sure they were not staying at the hotel. The gate from the parking lot was unlocked so anyone could just wander in, and staff did not seem to do any policing of the outdoor amenities. Other than the pool this hotel was very nice and wed stay again.
