LOVELY house and location! Really enjoyed all the amenities and closeness to the lake. Host responded immediately to our question of how to operate the fireplace. Although we did not bring our dog, we had several visits from Finn, a friendly neighborhood dog (we bought some new ping pong balls as he thought they were a fun game of chase :) Only negative we had was a residual odor of cat urine (especially upon entering the laundry room and in the media room). Fortunately, our weather was nice enough we could open windows and allow for fresh air to circulate. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

This house was a perfect location for us. Right on a lake with many activities near by. The house had a well stocked kitchen for our cooking needs. The house was cozy for game night, hot tubbing and sitting by the fire. Being with the whole family under one roof makes my heart full and this house was the perfect place for it. The host was so quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. Thank you for making our vacation a memorable one. Hope to be back one day soon.

Stay here!

I stayed for a bachelorette trip and everyone in the group loved the house! It was super spacious, clean, and everyone in the group talked about how comfortable the beds were. The walk to the water was short and it was a less than 10 min drive from the main restaurants. Would recommend!

Great house and location!

My 3 sisters and I really enjoyed this clean, spacious house, set back slightly from the lake. A short walk (with stairs) took us to the dock where we could sit by the shore or paddle around in a kayak and watch the sunset. Highly recommend Gathering House for your Deep Creek Lake experience.

Enjoyable Lake Getaway

Our first stay in Deep Creek Lake, we were thrilled to find this property! The outdoor and indoor gathering spaces were optimal for our family and friends get away. Access to the lake was great and we were checked in on us several times during our stay. The kitchen and large dining table were amazing! When we had questions, they were attended to right away! We would recommend this house and its owners to anyone who is visiting DCL!

Great getaway in Deep Creek

Fantastic home, unfortunately the weather didnt cooperate for the weekend.Everything inside and out was very clean. Ample amentities and a fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. The bedrooms were all very roomy and comfy and there was plenty of privacy for 3 couples. The owner was very responsive and helpful.5/5 would stay here again!

Friends on the Slopes

The Gathering Place was such a great property with suberb hosts. I was most impressed with communication from the owners and the tips and details they provided before our arrival. It helped so much with planning. We arrived to a help basket with some favorite treats like popcorn and hot cocoa which was a plesant surprise. The properyy is homey and modern. I was impressed with the size of the.bunk beds and all the beds. There were plenty of blankets and cookware. Pretty much had everything we needed for a group. Hot tub was ready to go at night and although we didnt use the firepit, we were pleased to find wood ready to go if we did. The owners communicated so well before, during, and after our stay. They made sure we were comfortable and addressed any questions right away. Highly recommend!!
