We went for a Valentine's getaway. The building is nicely appointed and very conveniently located. The room is on the first floor, relatively private at the back of the property, and an attractive executive suite with eat-in kitchen and extra seating. In the summer, it will be very conveniently located near both the bar/lounge and the swimming pool. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The heating/air is very powerful and effective but a little tricky to get balanced. We had a problem with the kitchen drain not draining (when we had not put anything down it but water) as we tried to make dinner. When we went to the front desk, they couldn't get main until the next day but they got us a plunger. Unfortunately, all that did was back water up into the dishwasher, which we didn't run for fear it would back up into the sink! Some boiling water down the drain got the sink to drain but meant we didn't do the dishes as we were supposed to do. One suggestion is to supply the kitchen a little bit better; if you are going to have only one knife, it should be bigger than a 3.5" paring knife and some measuring cups & spoons and a large bowl would be really helpful. But we managed a steak dinner with wine reduction sauce, salad and microwaved potatoes for a special dinner, so it was kitted out sufficiently for that.Despite the challenges, we agreed we would come back.
