Soka Suites Dallas - Las Colinas
4/5 Good
"Overall for the price point I was mostly satisfied with the accommodations. However, there were a few things that could've been much better. I was there for 4 nights, and housekeeping did not come by at all during my stay. I had hoped that at least by night 3 housekeeping would've come by and cleaned the bathrooms and made up the beds, but unfortunately that was not the case. The AC worked amazingly, so no complaints there! Each bedroom had plenty of closet and storage space, so that was definitely a plus. The bathrooms were spacious and had a decent amount of towels, but the bathtubs were very slippery so that was something we had to be cautious of. The refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave, and dishwasher all worked well. The washing machine worked well, but the buttons on the dryer were a bit concerning as it seemed like it wasn't going to turn on at a point, but after a few presses on the power button it came on thankfully and it dried the clothes just fine as well. Unfortunately, the TVs in both bedrooms were not working, but the TV in the living room worked. The toaster in the kitchen was extremely dirty to the point that when we tried to use it once, it almost caught on fire. The room's fire alarm starting going off, and we didn't know how dirty it was until we unplugged the toaster and looked inside to see exactly how filthy it was. The beds were decent, I just wish the pillows had been a bit bigger and firmer. Again, for the price it was decent, would book again."
