The place has an ant problem. We called about them and an exterminator was sent. He was very nice and left every ant bait station he had in his truck (he let us know he had visited this property multiple times in the past), but we still had ants all week. The ants were so bad outside that they got in our cars! Sitting in the living room we would be picking ants off our bodies. We arrived at 3:45 for a 4:00 checkin. Our code worked on the door so all good, right? Wrong! It was immediately obvious that it had not been cleaned so I called the office. I was told that we couldn’t check in early and we needed to leave. We left and returned at 4:30; nothing had changed. No cleaning had been done and no linens had been delivered. I called the office again and was asked if I wanted the cleaning service to return to the house. Of course I said yes. There was sand all over the house, no vacuuming had been done, tubs and sinks not cleaned, counters not cleaned, etc etc . Housekeeping came and did a decent job of hitting the highlights. Note if the window sills were to be cleaned it might help the ant issue, they were nasty. We called for maintenance about a broken sliding door and a broken sink stopper. Both needed parts ordered so I don’t know if or when they are being fixed. Called 3 times before we got linens. Some of the linens were damp inside of their packages and one set was so stained they should have been trashed. We would have requested another set but it was “after hours”.
