We picked Hotel Nuka based on its location and its amenity, and we are very happy with our choice. The hotel is located in the center of the town. We were able to walk to the trialheads in about 15 min, and to the supermarkets under 5 min. Around the hotel, there are many good dining options. The kitchen in the room has all the pots and plates for us to cook a couple of simple meals.
The only unpleasant incident happened during the airport drop-off. The day before our check-out, we told the front desk that we would like to leave at 9:30AM. The morning of the check-out, we confirmed again that we would be leaving at 9:30AM. Both times, we were not told that the time might not work. When we showed up at 9:30AM, front desk asked a driver to drive us to the airport. Out of everyone’s expectation, the driver started yelling at the front desk “you guys should be more systematic” “you can’t have me drive back and forth”. Everyone in the lobby just froze because no one expected to see this, especially considering that it’s an employee causing a scene. The front desk directed us to wait at another exit. A couple of minutes later, the driver stormed out and slammed the door in front of our face. We had no choice but followed him cluelessly to his car. Thank god another nice female employee came to rescue us! She told the driver to go inside and she drove us to the airport in her own car. I feel the management team needs to look into this for guests’ safety.
