Wrap around decking with outdoor table and chairs provides stunning views of the picturesque bay. A propane BBQ is available for your lakeside grilling and a fire pit for bonfires and smores.

Get out and explore the lake with two kayaks and a SUP and take a plunge right from the new cedar dock.

We loved our stay - the cottage is the perfect blend of rustic charm with modernized decor and you can’t beat the beautiful setting in a quiet bay off the main channel. The outdoor seating and dock is beautiful, and prime swimming right off the dock. Our favourite part of the cottage was the screened in sun room - we drank our morning coffee and spent every evening there. The interior was clean and plenty large for the 4 of us including the bedrooms. The fridge and dishwasher look fairly new, and the bathroom is nice and updated including a bath tub to make it easy for those with kids. We rented a boat so didn’t take advantage of the kayaks available, but did use the extra fridge in the boathouse to make it easier when spending time on the dock. Our suggestions that would make this a 5 star would be: blinds on all bedroom windows (we had to use tinfoil on 1 of the windows our toddler was in to keep it dark); updated ac - the 1 unit looks quite old and is extremely noisy if you’re a light sleeper; having a list of info when guests arrive that tells you where the laundry room is, how to work the tv, how to program the dishwasher ; keeping the cleaning products in a laundry room instead of the kids room (vacuum, broom, vacuum supplies); also strange in the kids room drawers were plastic beer cups with pong balls. Board games could also have been put in the main room vs bedroom drawers.Overall we had a great time and would love to stay again!

Our July week was restful (thank you for the excellent new queen bed), easy ( thanks to our hosts thorough welcome package ) and relaxing! We quickly adapted to the cottage life- fishing, swimming, kayaking, dining Al fresco, camp fires and, of course, napping. Highly recommend a week of serenity to recharge!

Another great stay!

We stayed here for a thanksgiving weekend, and wanted to come back for an extended summer stay… it ended working out and we had perfect stay! Weather was great so it was non stop dock chilling, paddle boarding, and kayaking checking out all the beautiful nature / birds / animals etc. perfect spot for little or big adventures with the kids!Nighttime cottage movies and board games rounded out days!All the amenities in the kitchen meant we just had to do a few quick runs to the grocery store and general store nearby for supplies. Bathroom and bedrooms were all clean and comfortable.

Great family stay

We had a great time staying at this lovely, clean, family friendly, and fun cottage for our thanksgiving getaway!! All the amenities were great for our 5 day stay for making a number of meals, popcorn for watching movies (LOTR binge for the win :D ), the boat house had a fun foosball table for fam jam games, and kayaks for booting around the fun little near by islands on the always lovely stoney lake! The owners were very professional, accommodating to any requests and quick answers on questions we had. Would definitely recommend this cottage!

Perfect Northern Getaway

Not only was the property stunning, but the hosts were beyond hospitable & responsive to any inquiries or messages sent their way. This is an incredible cottage getaway location and I highly suggest this VRBO stay if you're considering cottaging in this area of Ontario! The cottage is on a quiet bay in Stony Lake, allowing for a private and peaceful getaway with your loved ones. The cottage has high-quality amenities, such as the stove and AC unit, which provide an enjoyable experience on all levels. With friendly cottage neighbors, we never felt that we were imposing or anything similar. Don't hesitate - just book your getaway here!

Stoney Stay

We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect and the facilities were very clean. The appliances were new as were the back steps and the great dock. The description indicates a washer and dryer. Not so. There was only one bath towel in the bathroom. Luckily we had brought our own. As a helpful hint, more hooks to hang things throughout the cottage would be nice especially in the bedrooms. We also thought the decking area around the boathouse was a little dangerous. We hope these things help because overall we loved it, especially the front porch and the lovely view of the bay.

Great spot

Really nice location in a quiet bay, beautiful new dock that you can spend all day on. Cottage had a new kitchen and bathroom and plenty of room to relax inside; the sunroom was also a great space for having a coffee while looking out over the lake. The only let downs were that the beds were doubles (very small) and the kitchen needed a few more basic items like more pots and pans, a cheese grater, sieve etc, the lack of these things made cooking more difficult than it should have been.
