Week stay in August 2025

Couple staying 1 week in August while visiting family. Clean and cozy with great amenities. Location was near Trout Lake a short trip into North Bay. Enjoyed our stay. Only negative was it is located on a fairly busy road and the CN rail line.

I would stay here again if travelling through North Bay. It had a modern day homey rustic feel. Great communications with accommodating host. It was nice having coffee, watching the sun rise on the porch before our departure. Too bad we got there late and were unable to enjoy the BBQ and fire pit seating area. However, the view of the stars were phenomenal at night.

Very nice, that was very comfortable as were the linens. Really liked the outdoor area with fire pit barbeque deck with place to sit ..inside was very clean and we would stay here again.

- bedroom and bed sheets are clean- the rest area and the sofa bed, cushions etc….are not clean enough, but it’s okay- bonus points for the fire pit and private deck - 2 cans of welcome drink- easy to dump the trash - I found the garbage bin in the kitchen still has garbage and banana peels in the bin when I checked in -sofa bed is not comfortable, no good sleep - I saw deer and fireflies in his backyard - provided many extra pillow cases and bed sheets - the AC not cool enough- microwave and dryer are very high, lol I can’t reached them- Washing machine and dry in the unit

Great Location Good Price

The apartment needs a few updates which would really enhance the good bones that are there. For example the control for shower falls off. The cupboard door for big plates is loose and needs to be rehung.The microwave sits atop the fridge and is very difficult to use. Needs a good cleaning and a new coat of paint. The mattress on the bed should be updated. These issues in isolation would not be problematic however in combination are food for thought. In fairness the hosts are very responsive to any questions. They decided to make the check in very easy as the drop box had problems. The price is excellent and the location is also very good.The apartment is a really good size. The TV was great as well So in summary the hosts were excellent and with a few updates this apartment would be a real gem

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Laundry facilities were much appreciated. Kitchen had everything necessary to cook meals. Bed was soft and fresh. Surfaces and floors clean. Walls, door knobs, switches, and the baseboards needed a good scrub. Garbage around entrance.

Sheets & Duvet are Dreamy!

Perfect for two people. Reasonable rates, tastefully decorated, well stocked, very clean and comfortable. Hosts have thought of everything and have added many nice touches! Loved having the laundry facilities, the sound machine and the fan. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Have already told friends about it.

Beautiful apartment hideaway

We loved our stay, everything was thought of including a fan and sound machine! We love the location it is in a little secluded hideaway, however, close to beaches, stores, and the main city. It was quiet and inviting. Definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you again! W

Two of my bridesmaids and I stayed here for a night to celebrate my upcoming wedding. The apartment was very clean and private. There were signs posted letting us know where extra stuff was. It was very secure and inviting. The kitchen was fabulous and we each got a complimentary beer from a local brewery. It was a very nice touch . We even enjoyed watching the baywatch channel lol on the Roku tv. It was perfect for what we needed. I recommend staying here. We already booked another weekend next month. Caroline

Nice private location, but a few issues

Missed opportunity to watch live TV; suggest a mirror in the bedroom and a Keurig coffee machine. When we went to make up the pull-out bed, the fitted sheet had clumps of hair in it.

A Perfect Place to Stay

I really enjoyed staying here. It was a perfect location for me visiting relatives. The unit was clean and had everthing I needed. There is a fire pit, deck and BBQ if you wanted to use them. For a 1 bedroom I thought it was quite spacious. I am hoping to stay there again in the near future.

Weekend Stay with Family

Matt was so friendly and welcoming. Was there with whatever we needed and allowed us to make ourselves at home. It was very quiet which I loved and the location is amazing! Short distance from the lake and close to lots of trails. Can’t wait to come back in the summer! Thanks Carmen and Matt!
