We were switched to another property at the last minute
I wish I could review this property. 2 days before we were scheduled to check in, the host informed us that he had double-booked, and he was moving us to another property. No apologies. Just letting us know and that we would be receiving credit for the difference in the nightly rates. It had the same number of beds so no problem in his mind, I guess.With 2 days notice there were no other acceptable options available in Niagara Falls, so we were left with the choice of accepting this move or cancelling our vacation. We spent a lot of time researching properties and reserved this house 5 months in advance. We would never have selected the one he moved us to.It had one full bath that was so narrow it could have been located on a submarine. The other bathroom only had a sit-down shower. The 4th “bedroom” was a bed placed in the dining area right next to the dining table. Instead of being in a quiet neighborhood, it was on the edge of Clifton Hill, in the shadow of a cereal plant and across from a torn-down commercial building that is now an empty lot where hundreds of people park to visit Clifton Hill. The home did not have sufficient seating for even 4 people. It was not comfortable and negatively impacted on the quality of our trip.I leave this review, so that others are aware of this potentially happening to them when they book from this host.
