The location is the star of the show. You’re right on the beach, and the ocean is only a few steps away. The master bedroom has a great ocean view, but that’s the only room that does.That said, this place feels more like beach camping with walls than a relaxing beach vacation. The only TV is in a kitchen so small it feels like a bathroom. There’s one uncomfortable couch, so if more than one person wants to watch TV, somebody’s sitting upright like they’re waiting at the DMV.The mini fridge is tiny, and the freezer was so packed with ice that our popsicles melted on day one. There’s no dishwasher or garbage disposal. There are also no dressers, drawers, or closets, so we lived out of our suitcases all week.The biggest issue is sand. There’s no hose near the property, so sand follows you everywhere. By day two it felt like it was in the floors, sheets, and furniture. If you want to rinse off properly, you’ll be walking down toward the pier.My son liked his bed, but my wife and I did not. The pillows felt like folded towels, and the mattress left me sore every morning. Construction next door starts around 7 a.m., so sleeping in isn’t happening.No dedicated parking, and beach gear like boogie boards or toys isn’t provided.If it had just been my son and me, we would’ve been fine. My wife was uncomfortable the entire stay. Amazing location, but the accommodations didn’t match it.
