Location was perfect for us. Property was nice and the staff was excellent....attentive and thoughtful. The property is older and shows its age a bit but the overall appearance was nice. Only issue was how slow the elevators were.....one time it took 7 minutes and another time 5 minutes. All other times it was there withing a couple of minutes. The bar was lively and lots of fun.

I stayed here in December of 2025. They have tried to steal money from me twice now by charging two separate credit card for $500 dollars. The last fraudulent transaction they did was 2 weeks ago. This is 3 months after I stayed there that they are trying to steal and hoping costumers don’t notice. I’ve called numerous times, sent emails and left voicemails and I do not get any replies. Be careful staying here and make sure to check your transactions after you stay here.

The hot water ran out in the evening. When I checked in, I was assured I could stay in my room with two different reservations. When I went to check out, I was told I had to switch rooms and re-check back in. Absolutely nothing was offered for the major inconvenience.

Room and hotel were lovely. Restaurant was great. The unexpected $29 per night resort fee was frustrating and a surprise. The front desk staff were not very friendly. Lower floor was noisy, I heard the upper floors were much better.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, glamorous and has an elegance to it. The bar and restaurant were great. The manager on site was good (Miranda) and handled our issues politely and well. The hotel staff definitely need more training on customer service and guest relations. The hotel also needs to sort out and fix a faulty alarm that had us walking down 24 flights of steps at 3am in the morning. We were told that it was a drill, but the alarm went off 3 more times in the following days and elevators shut down. Less than acceptable in terms of operations. I would stay again since location was good and great shops near by. It’s right next to the Apollo Theater. Some staff members were great in the restaurant, but hotel staff need improvement. No smiles from one particular staff member at the front desk who seems to hate her job and was less than accommodating. Overall, we stayed for 10 days and felt that we got our monies worth in terms of the nightly rate. Views from room were awesome and the room was spacious and clean. Had to triple request some items, like towels, toilet paper etc and ask for the room to be cleaned since we were simply skipped some days. It’s a true gem for Harlem, I hope that training and service can be improved to make it a landmark that remains for many years to come. Entertainment in restaurant was great too!!
