The hotel is a quiet refuge in the heart of Midtown. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating, especially the Doormen. The room was big compared to the usual NYC room. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was big. There were actually drawers and a closet. Easy to get to theatres, museums and Central Park. Will stay here again

Far and away two things make the Michelangelo Hotel a stand out: 1) location! Conveniently located proximal to Times Square, Broadway, and Radio City Music Hall and great Restaurants 2) the personal service by the gentlemen who are the face of the hotel from the door men, to the front desk to room service; all smiles and grace. Highly recommend. Only drawback we experienced was a somewhat noisy a/c unit, which is ironic because the room got uncomfortably stuffy at night when the a/c unit cycled off. Otherwise, a great hotel and staff.
