Retirement celebration

Our family had a wonderful time celebrating grandpa’s retirement. The grandkids couldn’t get enough of the sandy beach and lake. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and pool table. Owners were quick and easy to communicate with and literally thought of supplying everything and anything you may possibly need to make your stay amazing! We also loved all the furnishings and decor - beautiful and tastefully decorated! Would love to come back!

Family Weekend

We do an annual weekend with the family, this year we choose to stay here based on location and amenities. This house is just beautiful, owner really thought of everything, from labeling the light switches to plenty of toys for yard and lake and fully stocked kitchen, you really don't need much to have a great time! There is so much space to spread out, lower level has foosball and a pool table, walk out basement leads to lower patio with huge hot tub and awesome screened in porch. Firepit area and large patio with tons of seating for everyone. Upper deck has large table for eating, a nice fire table and patio furniture is so comfortable. Furniture in the house is higher end, beds are really comfortable, lots of towels, heated tile floors in bathrooms. Owner even left a nice gift for us. I would highly recommend!!! Kim

Can’t wait to return!

This property is the perfect place for a family get-together. Once you arrive, there isn’t a need to go anywhere, except the grocery store. Adults and children can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, and a sandy beach right out the door. The home, inside, is furnished with everything you need and more. The host, Pam, was quick to respond with answers to our questions. We hope to be able to return next year.

Everything....and more

This home was perfect for our family vacation!! There was plenty of space for us to spread out when needed and to spend time together as well. The house is just as it appears online, and more! The beach, screened in porch and water access were perfect for our 4 grandchildren. The kayaks, paddleboard, floaties, hot tub, lawn games, pool table, foosball table and board games were excellent to have at our fingertips. The kitchen, bathroom and bar area are perfectly stocked. We did 90% of our meals on the Blackstone and Weber grill which was so convenient. The beds are amazingly comfortable, bathrooms are huge, and the shared spaces are perfect sizes. We enjoyed beautiful weather throughout a majority of our week, but even if it had rained more, all 11 of us would have been comfortable in the house. Finally, Pam is an excellent host! She is attentive to every detail, and by the way the home is decorated, it is obvious she wants this space to feel like home for all of her visitors! We definitely have WisCottage at the top of our list for a return visit!

Absolutely wonderful!

Our stay was amazing despite the weather not exactly cooperating. The house is exactly as described, and even included a few welcome gifts. Communication was stellar and prompt. The attention to detail is unparalleled. For example, there are TVs in every room, board games, full dishes, utensils, linens, paper towels, extra TP… even scissors and tape. Beds are super comfy, house was extremely clean, and there are so many water toys! Spa was a hit with all ages. The screened in porch was wonderful during the rain. Fireplace is really nice and easy to use. There are beverage fridges upstairs and downstairs so you don’t always have to open the big fridge. Plenty of stores and restaurants within a 10-min drive should you want to get out. Castle Rock Lake is very close, but we found so much to do we only left the house a couple times!

Spectacular home with plenty to do & lots of attention to detail

This beautiful home was just perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. We had plenty of room to spread out, but the space still felt cozy. And there's so much to do -- enjoy the soft sandy beach & calm pond, relax in the hot tub, sit by the fire pit, play an indoor or outdoor game, or lounge in one of the many comfy chairs or couches. The great care and attention to detail in the home really elevated our experience. The kitchen, grill, and downstairs bar areas are stocked with everything that you would need to feed and entertain your group. Water toys, beach towels, and spa-quality robes were provided. And the light switches were all labeled. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well-appointed with plenty of towels, outlets, and storage space as well. Pam was a thoughtful, responsive, and attentive host. She was easy and fun to communicate with, and she was very helpful and accommodating. The entire family give the home two big thumbs up, and we hope to stay there again next year!
