Friend Trip 2025

Overall great cabin and property. Everything was clean and well maintained. Plenty of space in the bedrooms for air mattresses since the kids didn't always want to sleep in the bunk room. The kids had a blast having a beach in the backyard. Spent everyday swimming since we lucked out with some great weather.Kitchen was a little under stocked with utensils but nothing trip ruining. If you are picky about pots and pans maybe bring your own. Also no child utensils.Only minor complaints are lack of a pantry. All of our snacks lived on the counter so it would have been nice to have a bookshelf or something in the spacious entryway.Friends staying in the downstairs queen bedroom said the bed was too firm and noisy when moving around.Needing to keep the fire pit on the beach. It would be nice to have a pad for it in the grass.Great cabin and property! We will be back!

Sun, water, and fun!

We had an excellent vacation! The home was spacious and clean, and all the advertised amenities were in place. The big hit, however, was the pond. Our granddaughters spent almost all their time on the beach, on paddleboards, in the water swimming or fishing. Both sons-in-law loved the fishing and both caught (and released) 5# bass. Our 7-year-old granddaughter caught the first fish (a large pan fish) on a simple dough ball.The area felt private and we saw deer, turkeys, turtles and frogs in addition to all the fish. The water was so clear that we could watch fish following our lures as we reeled in.It was almost perfect. I say almost because a few of the beds could use new mattresses and some of us would have liked firmer pillows, but sleeping was only a small part of our time here.

Great place to stay!

Family members traveled to the area for a graduation party. Local family got to enjoy time with traveling family in a wonderful setting with lots of room. Tried Kayaking, swimming, ping pong and catching fish! We hope to do it again!

Peaceful setting
