Good place if you want to stay off the grid. The no WiFi and how many mosquitoes, was the two only inconveniences.

Cabin in the Woods

We really enjoyed our stay. The house lived up our expectations. Very secluded and quiet but still close enough to the lakes. Only suggestion is maybe some window treatments in the bathroom.

comfortable and secluded

The cabin was very comfortable and secluded. The interior was nicely updated; it felt roomier than it looked because of the high ceilings. The vintage/antique decorations and accessories were interesting and the on demand hot water was a plus with 4 of us showering and running the dishwasher. The property was nicely groomed and we would have liked to wander some of the trails, but mother nature did not give us that opportunity as the area was saturated with rain and mosquitos.

Clean Cozy And Comfortable

Beautiful, clean and updated place to stay. Secluded but close to town! The property was very well maintained and very clean. The house was welcoming and bright. Fresh flowers upon arrival!! We will be back next year! The beds and pillows were comfy. Lots of windows to let in the natural light. We loved the fact it was pet friendly. The only thing that was annoying....the mosquitoes were awful. The conditions were just right. It's mother nature and there was a bug repellant candle for us to use. Maybe smoking for mosquitoes might be worth it. Bring bug spray for sure! Thanks!
