Lovely guest house with a friendly staff. My room, with a private terrace, was lovely. Right in the middle of the Old City and perfect for walking to attractions in Nazareth and beyond. I was there during a very quiet time and there were not enough guests for weekday breakfast, but the dining area was very pleasant. There are some very good cafes and restaurants within minutes as well. Highly recommended for visits to Nazareth and the Galilee.

Great stay in Nazareth. Staff were very helpfull and friendly. We parked our car outside the old city, 5 min from the hotel and just walked there. The room was nice and clean and we enjoyed the terrasse on roof with the amazing view, specially at sunset. Breakfast was splendid! We highly recommend!

The hotel is located in several renovated buildings with numerous balconies, terraces and nooks, fun to explore. The views of downtown Nazareth are stunning. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The management was friendly and caring. A special place to stay!

The Michel Guesthouse is a lovely place to stay in Nazareth. Our group of four mature adults reserved two rooms, and everyone was very pleased with the beautiful accommodations and charming hospitality. Breakfast was delicious and generous, and the entire staff was extremely friendly. There is a parking lot about a five-minute walk away. We had to carry our luggage up several flights of steps to get to our rooms, but the view was worth the effort. We were not able to connect to the internet from our rooms but were able to use Wi-Fi in the breakfast area and in other parts of the building. We highly recommend the Michel Guesthouse for a stay in Nazareth.

Michel is an amazing host, the renovated hotel is just amazing, super clean, spacious , great location just around the church of the Annonciation. Great Breakfast and super warm welcome and hospitality. One of the best hotels I have been in in a long time. I am platinum elite lifetime Marriott, but would not trade Michel House for any Marriott in the world. Bernard

The Old Nazareth

The hotel building is supposedly a 200-year old building located in the old quarters of Nazareth as a result it could not provide with all the modern amenities. However, the rooms were comfortable and had a number of outdoor seating areas offering a good panoramic view of the city. Nemil at the reception who also doubled up as at the breakfast provider looked after us very well. Thanks Nemil.

Nice hotel with a big difference between the rooms

Apparently there's a big difference between the old and the new parts of the hotel. Our room in the old part was very dark, lacked any outside windows, very noisy and offered no value for money. The hotel should be more transparent of the conditions of the room.

Beautiful place with beautiful people!

Very nice small family hotel with absolutely beautiful people! Located at the heard of the old city with short walking distance to all main attractions. Rooms are large and very clean and so is the shower. Breakfast is very good with wide variety of options. The staff are super friendly and will do everything to help, support and guide you in the city. We stayed two nights with three kids and will come back again for sure!

Decent room, but certainly not 9.8 rating as was advertised. Ran out of hot water when taking a bath. No amenities (soap, shampoo, etc). Not enough room for suitcases. Hard to find. Very noisy, especially the nearby mosque call to prayer at a.m. The staff also did not straighten up the room or refresh the bar during our stay. I'd give it a rating of 6 at most.

Check in times are limited and staff not always on property or available by phone. I would recommend at least a way to phone staff so check in outside of the narrow hours posted. I was fine but another guest had difficulty getting in.

Lovely stay in Nazareth

A most enjoyable stay at a historic residence-turned-hotel at an ideal location in the center of Nazareth. Michel's hospitality and friendship was unforgettable, and the service by him and his staff was just great. Hotel parking worked out well, and the breakfasts were a real treat! We'd gladly return and stay there again.
