EXCELLENT choice for family and friends! First class accommodations and location. 15 minutes from town for anything you need and 2 minutes from a local hot springs to enjoy. A quiet location with a stream out the back door or deck with deer and turkey visits all day. Great place to base for day trips or great place to never leave the house. Thanks to the owners for sharing there personal vacation home and allowing my family to make lifetime memories.

This place is hands down the best vacation rental we have ever had pleasure of staying at. Cliffs and Streams was perfect for our long weekend stay. It’s less than 5 min to Mt Princeton Hot Springs and a short drive to BV or Salida. All of the amenities made staying here that much more relaxing and enjoyable. We cannot wait to stay here again and bring our family to experience this magical place tucked inside of the beautiful mountain ranges and valley. 10/10 would recommend!

The Cliffs and Streams Cabin is the perfect mountain cabin to spend time with family. The cabin is so inviting and has everything we needed for our stay. The hosts are amazing and had great communication throughout our stay. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Weekend getaway

Piñon properties were very responsive and gave check in instructions as well as helpful tips before we arrived. The check-in process was easy. The host checked in on our stay by text and were very responsive. Overall, the house was clean although the dishes did need to be washed before using. Because of the location (mountains), we did see evidence of mice activity (droppings on the main bathroom counter and noise at night). It is a log cabin, so expect noises related to the logs. The coffee machine did not work for us and the host offered to bring us a new one. Because our stay was short (only 2 nights) we opted not to get another coffee maker. The kids loved the basement - very kid friendly and we enjoyed both balconies as well as the backyard patio and hammock. The main floor bedroom set is not as comfortable as the beds downstairs. We did enjoy watching VHS movies and bird watching. The washer and dryer allowed us to wash the towels for housekeeping as well as our swim suits for use at the hot springs.

The perfect property, location and hosts. Pinon Property was responsive to our questions and needs and made sure we had the best time. Special gifts, informative notes and little touches made this even more memorable at Cliffs & Stream. We can’t wait to stay here again and hope to visit other properties of theirs as well.

We loved our time at the property. It would be terrific for families. Lots of games and videos to watch. Beautiful outdoor and indoor spaces. You instantly feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door.

Epic getaway

This property was just amazing, from the beautiful wooded setting and river views to the log cabin complete with fireplace, decks and walkout with outdoor fireplace.Without a doubt I’ll be back! Did I forget to mention it’s within a few minutes drive the Mt. Princeton resort?

Great vacation spot

We loved our stay at Cliffs and Streams. It was super clean and spacious and just overall a great experience. The only issue was spotty WiFi which has more to do with the location than anything. Highly recommend.

Great spot at base of Mt Princeton!

Lovely house in the woods, right on the stream and minutes from beautiful hikes and the Mt Princeton Hot Springs. 3 bedrooms with queen beds and attached baths, as well as bunk beds in the common area downstairs. Washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen. Multiple fireplaces, both gas and natural wood (which you can chop yourself outside!). Lots of games: foosball and mini pool inside, cornhole and horseshoes outside (both kid and adult versions). The WiFi is super weak and can't stream, so there are DVDs and video tapes available to watch instead. It is strong enough to load websites and maps, and to make phone calls if you stand in the right spot (seems stronger downstairs). There's no cell reception, so have your check-in info saved in advance! There are very limited dining options nearby, so bring your own food or expect to drive 15 mins to Buena Vista or 30 to Salida. Most restaurants stop serving at 9pm. Apparently you can usually drive over the Tincup Pass to Tincup/Taylor Park, but it's been raining so much the lake flooded the road! We went over the Cottonwood Pass from BV instead then rented UTVs to drive up to Tincup. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.
