We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was a great location- easily walkable to downtown Nantucket. The property was clean and well decorated. We could have used more towels and the dryer was very slow to dry towels when we washed them. But very minor in terms of a great rental!

Fabulous Home and Spot

Amazing rental!

Loving the master suite! We get VRBO’s multiple times/year on island when we come to work in our store and this one is a gem. 8-10 minute walk from Old South Wharf. Clean, decorated so cute and we felt so at home! The flowers post Daffy were so nice!

Not a comfortable stay

We checked in on Mon Aug 19. The shower drain in the downstairs bathroom is was clogged and there was water stagnant during the shower. I called the maintenance crew to look into it and they were unable to resolve the issue. They said it was bigger problem and needed to come back the next day with more equipment. On the same afternoon key got stuck in the key hole, and we were unable to pull it out, which meant we could not lock the door. Maintenance crew came in the night and was not able to remove the key, and said it would take longer to fix. I wasn’t not comfortable leaving my daughter and her friend alone in the home without locking the door. I had to carry a screwdriver around to open the door with. The owner suggested dealing with tradespeople the next day to fix the issues but I had work meetings and could not be at home to have them. Tuesday the shower was clogged and water was not draining. We could not take a shower as the water was stagnant. The home owner did not respond to my text or show concern for the inconvenience. It was a short trip and overall a very bad experience. We have revered many VRBO’s and have always had amazing experiences this one in particular was not good.

LOVELY PROPERTY & EXPERIENCE

Our family had a delightful time and the location was perfect, easy to get everywhere on the island:) My only minor disappoints were marketing it as a "Luxurious Harbor View " when there were no views from the house of anything, very small patio for dining outside, no lights on patio and says it sleeps 6, it was tight for 5. 4 is the ideal number for the cottage:)
