Its always a good place to stay but the rooms and especially the bathrooms need to be updated
Property was convenient walk to town, lobby area pretty with coffee/muffins/water every morning. Pool was great.We had 2 rooms. One faced the pool and had a little veranda which was nice, the other faced the back parking lot. The back room's toilet overflowed the first night, flooding half the room. The staff was not very helpful that night, only offering a few towels, which were no help. The next morning they upgraded us to a different room, however then they said they did that by mistake and said we had to move back to the room that flooded. After I complained they let us stay in the new room, but we had to pack up twice. My daughter left a bathing suit in the flooded room in the rush to leave. Housekeeping took it and we still haven't gotten it back.

Payed 5 star prices for a 2 star property. I went with my Dad to Nantucket and the only reason I chose The Beachside was the capability of 2 beds with the sofa bed being one. For 476 per night it was worse than.a Suoer 8 in a bad neighborhood. Staff was friendly but grounds were dated. Rooms were small and tv wasn’t working. If I ever do go back to Nantucket I will spend the extra for 2 rooms at a good place next time. Anyone who cares about their room on vacation, do not stay at this hotel.

Nice property. Bed was very comfortable. Easy checkin. Only thing got locked out of our room took awhile for someone to come let us in because office closed at 5. They should always have someone on staff at front desk. Otherwise very nice property
Very nice, clean hotel close to Jetties beach. We were there for Indepence day fireworks and it was super easy to get back to the hotel afterwards. Easy, short walk to the main part of town. Very quiet hotel. Decent breakfast.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the ferry, downtown, shuttle, beach and lighthouse. Quiet and away from the noise of downtown.

Hotel and our stay was pretty good overall. It's a 7 min walk to the beach. 10 min walk to the restaurants. The room was nice & clean overall, but the bed was a bit too soft I woke up with my back & neck aching.
This looked like a good deal, but we ended up spending $406.00 per night including tax and we did not get a poolside room as quoted. The staff was very nice, buthe rate from Very misleading
Hotel is reasonably pretty. It is walkable to downtown and on one of the public bus lines. I would not recommend to a friend at the price level I was charged.
Great place to stay right between Jetties beach and Downtown. Everything is within walking distance. It's a little dated but it's location makes a up for it. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head, this is it.
You can't beat the location. Close to down town and Jetties Beach. So close that you could walk to both. Everything was clean, just a little outdated. There was a faint musty odor when you first walked into the room.

Staff was not hospitable at all. They made it seem as though we were there to provide them a job as opposed to our being treated like guests. Management needs to train them all over again on how to treat guests.
