We arrived on a night when the new owners, who took over 6 months ago, had arranged a quiz night in the main bar. That is a fabulous barn conversion with great facilities. That was a terrific night and we managed to meet a lot of local people who could not have been more welcoming. The . Staff in the hotel were so very friendly adn the restaurant and bar areas . were beautifully done. the room was a tad tight but perfectly adequate. They are spending a lot of time renovation other parts of the building and all the feedback we had from the locals was that this is a great addition to a small community. We wish them every success and would encourage you to go there. We loved the staff and the food and all the tips on places to go in the local area.
