5-Bedroom Farmhouse Estate in Muskoka

Stunning 42-acre farm in the heart of Muskoka! The property features a farmhouse built in 1900, with breathtaking views of rolling hills and mixed bush. Total Prince Edward County vibes, but in Muskoka. There is a small body of water on the property that feeds into Three Mile Lake. Perfect for canoeing. Tons of walking trails on the property, and also some light gym equipment for those who need a workout.

The house itself has 5 bedrooms (one of which has gym equipment in it), 2 bathrooms and a great room with lots of built-ins. A big bay window in the kitchen, which is perfect for reading or bird watching. We’ve got a well-lit wrap-around porch with a fully screened-in section featuring two fan lights, so you can comfortably dine outdoors. Brand-new BBQ for family gatherings. Decorative fire pit for bonfires. Casper mattresses in 2 of the rooms, with mostly Casper pillows throughout the house. Parking for 10 cars. Very peaceful pastoral ambience, but also extremely close to all the action of Muskoka - within easy reach of the Muskoka Airport, golfing, trails, restaurants and shopping in nearby Port Carling, Bracebridge, Windermere and Rosseau.

Exceptional tranquil getaway

If you are looking for absolute tranquility, a trip back in time, and a sky full of stars this is a highly recommended rental. If you are ok with the tradeoff of having to drive a short distance into town, then stock up on good food for the BBQ and enjoy the peace. LCBO and Beer Store with a small convenience store / gas station are just up the road. Jessica is a great host, and went the distance to accommodate our specific and quite unique needs. We'll be back as regulars.
