Reliably excellent

This was my fourth stay at Suba Palace, and I was delighted to see that they have kept their standards high. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean. The staff are all courteous and professional, and the breakfast is amazing. I never stay anywhere else now. I’ve already booked my next stay. Keep up the good work.

A great experience

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. Linens are dirty, there was one hour power outage in a hot summer day without any backups, bathroom are smelly and shower had no pressure. There is only one lift which is also used to transport cement bags along with customers (to construction area which obviously means noise throughout the day). My wife complained that patrons don’t even use tongs to grab food in the buffet and staff wasn’t enforcing it either.

I’ll be back!

This was my second stay at Suba Palace, and it reminded how much I’d loved it first time. The staff are incredibly friendly. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is fantastic, and the location is perfect. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Mumbai. Thanks and well done to all the team at Suba Palace. A bonus is that it’s just around the corner from the wonderful Woodside Inn.

What a gem! I visit Mumbai once or twice a year, and I have now found my go-to hotel. The location is perfect, the staff were super friendly, the room was bright and clean and the breakfast was amazing. It’s also just round the corner from The Woodside for a pint of White Zen! What more could you want. Massive thanks to all at Suba Palace for a great stay.

Great location friendly staff and clean rooms

Excellent location, you really are in the perfect location for sight seeing and getting around. If you are looking for something upmarket rather look at the trident or a hotel on Marine drive. You are slightly less central but it is more of a westernised area. If you like walking out of your hotel and being walking distance to great local restaurants and markets this is the hotel for you. It's clean and the staff are friendly. You can ask the front desk for a sim card or laundry. Everything is done same day. I would recommend taking a city tour with an external provider.

Hotel is located in an area of town where walking to shops, tourist areas like the Taj, Gateway and bazaar shops are located nearby. Service staff is friendly, kind, accommodating and very helpful. Breakfast buffet is decent with juices and coffee. Don't expect views of Mumbai outside your window! Rooms are small and bathroom shower stall is very small maybe 4x4 square feet with the toilet in same area. Hotel has their own drivers to take you a around town. Overall I'd say 3 Star American standard
