Standing water in floor (we cleaned up), broken ac, headboard fell off wall, other bed frame broke, toilet wobbled, key cards stopped working several times, didn’t bring clean towels or provide enough towels for 3. Didn’t offer a discount or different room until 10:30 the night the night we were leaving. She said “my manager said if you leave now we will refund your money and you can go to Boone”. I told her it was too late and shut the door. No continental breakfast or even a place for a continental breakfast so that is just a straight up lie. The lobby has strong potpourri that the desk clerk referred to as the stank lol. My mom and another lady were struggling to breathe. It was extremely loud at night and there were shady cars in and out that didn’t need to be there. The room has been renovated and is lovely however it fell apart quickly.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which I truly appreciated. The lobby was clean and welcoming, but the experience changed once I entered the hallway to the rooms—there was an unpleasant odor, and the condition of the ceiling, floors, and walls left a lot to be desired. In my room, the curtain didn’t fully cover the bottom portion of the window, which raised privacy concerns, since the room was on the ground level. Although the room almost matched the hallway and the toilet didn't like to flush, the room was clean.

The room is adequate for one night. The bed is nice. The bathroom sink and faucet were new, but the tub had a lot of mold around the edge. The staff are very friendly.

No breakfast since COVID even though website advises a breakfast buffet is included. Rude staff, so filthy and sketch I stayed at another hotel. Pictures and full review will be posted on Amazon shortly, do not trust Expedia reviews.

What an interesting experience.....

It was strange. It was hard to get my hotel reservation because they had issues logging in. After that, they gave me 2 keys that didn't work. They couldn't program the keys, so the clerk had to use a master key to let us in our room a couple times. There were odd people walking around who turned out to be workers and staff, one was walking around with a beer in his hand. The room was recently remodeled and they're remodeling others with all of the building materials piled in the lobby. The next morning, two of us sat in the lobby while the other slept in. The .morning clerk wouldn't let us use the remote to change the lobby TV because her boss "is due in, and she likes to watch the news". Eventually she showed us the guide and allowed us to watch another channel. It was odd. Won't stay there again, even if they're the only hotel in town... It was relatively clean though.
