Bello paseo del lago, 2 acres + 800 pies de largo x 30 pies de ancho propiedad península en el lago Watauga. Un lado de la península es una pequeña cala en forma de laguna, el otro lado es el agua abierta con vistas impresionantes. ¿NUNCA HA ESTADO EN EL LAGO DE WATAUGA?
Watauga Lake es un lago de recreo muy bonito y limpio (3ª más limpias del país), ubicado en el bosque nacional de Cherokee con 105 millas de la costa. Más de la mitad del lago se encuentra el bosque nacional montañosa y no puede desarrollarse, lo que es muy natural hermoso y no es una locura superpoblado con los barcos. Esta joya escondida es conocido por ser uno de los lagos más bellos de la costa este. Watauga lago es ideal para el canotaje, esquí acuático, tubos, esquí / wakeboard, pesca, natación, kayak, etc.
Aguas abajo de la presa es una zona de rafting muy popular ya que la mayoría de las empresas locales en Tennessee y Carolina del Norte llevar a sus clientes aquí. Senderismo también es muy popular ya que el camino Appalachain y un par de pequeñas cascadas están cerca. We loved the remoteness of this property. It was an excellent choice to be able to recharge and sit back and relax. Really enjoyed that you cannot hear any traffic noises and at night the area was not impacted by lights from development. Very peaceful. I do recommend renting a boat to explore this wonderful location.

We loved our time here. Kids swam, caught fish, and kayaked. Great fire pit, back porch, and outdoor patio to relax on. We will be back!

This place was perfect for a long guy’s weekend getaway! The setting is every bit as beautiful as the pictures show. We rented a pontoon boat from Fish Springs Marina, about a 20 minute boat ride from the house. We enjoyed paddling the cove and one of the boys caught a 4 pound largemouth! The kitchen was very well appointed for cooking. The fire pit was a highlight as the sun set and the covered porch with propane fire was a perfect alternative on a night of scattered showers. Management was very responsive leading up to the trip, and everything functioned in the house, so no need to contact them during our stay. Looking forward to coming back!

Great Location

Great property with wonderful water views and access. Tons of fish around the dock and boat access area. We also enjoyed not having a lot of other houses around, so the cove was very peaceful. Would definitely visit here again. Take saltine crackers to feed the blue gill at the dock, they will eat for hours.

Perfectly peaceful getaway!

The property is a unique retreat right on the lake with a private boat dock available for our rental. It was perfect for our needs. We had a glorious time, even making smores over an outdoor fire. The property owner/manager went above and beyond to communicate with us. We did not lack for any information and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. I would certainly recommend this quiet property to enjoy the beautiful Watauga Lake and area.

The house is in really good shape and very clean. There were a lot of useful things in the house like wood, cleaning essentials, games, automatic vacuum cleaners and kitchen supplies. Everything was perfect.

Most relaxing trip!

The location of this property was exactly what we were looking for! Private, short distance to the water from the house, great views. The house was well equipped and the double refrigerator was key since there are not many restaurants close by. The lake is so beautiful, we rented a boat for the week and explored everyday and there were no crowds. We were totally comfortable while the kids were tubing and not concerned of other boaters. Just a fantastic time overall!

Quick trip to isolate

The home was well equipped with needed items. The wifi worked well, which was nice because we had no cell phone service. We were looking for remote and found it for sure. We did not have much success catching fish, but the lake was beautiful.

Smokey Mountain retreat

Very private location. No immediate neighbors. Only the birds for noise (saw my 1st Green Heron). N & W water views of small cove and Elk River. Comfortable, well-furnished home. Spent many mornings on porch rocking chairs watching the morning mist burn off the hills and lake water. Good unpaved neighborhood roads for taking daily walks. Stayed 1 month (Sept) and enjoyed all of it.

Great location surrounded by water!

Our group of couples/friends take an annual trip to Watauga, and we had another great trip this summer! The property was in a wonderful location with water on both sides of the peninsula, as well as convenience to 321 and the neighborhood boat ramp. The kitchen was well equipped for a few days of cooking. Frig was large which made it perfect for a group that plans to bring a ton of groceries. Ice maker was pretty slow so I would suggest that guests bring extra bags of ice along. Furniture on the porch and at the fire were perfect, the dock was a nice amenity with our fishing boat along and the kayaks provided were a nice feature! Thank you for a great stay!

Family of 4 and 2 dogs...

We spent 5 wonderful and relaxing days here. The home is so comfortable and has everything you need. We have family in the area and they all opted to come visit us everyday on the lake. No cell service but there is a home phone and limited wifi. The only thing we missed having was a fenced in area for our pups. Area dogs wandered up to the house a lot so we weren't comfortable letting ours roam around unleashed. But the closed deck helped. Hope to make it back next year!!

Family Memories

The property is beautiful but some very steep hills. I wish there was a bit more level land. It appeared to be like a beach with sand in pictures but really couldn't enjoy it like that because of being steep and slick like clay. My husband had recently had knee surgery so we were very cautious with him. We loved having access to kayaks and water mat. The house was very nice. Seating areas are nice as well. It would have been wonderful to have a view of the lake to the left off from the back side of the awesome covered deck. It was not used at all because there wasn't much of a view from there anymore. Possible cut some trees back for a bit of a view. Overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed making family memories. Thank you very much.

Rustic elegance on the water- HIGHLY recommended

Watauga Lake is one of the cleanest and most pristine lakes in the entire Southeastern US. Set in the Cherokee National Forest, the lake atmosphere is outstanding if you're looking for a place to relax, rewind, and recover from whatever you drive or whatever drives you. Memorial Day 2017 was our second visit to this cabin. Our most recent experience confirms the validity of our decision to try to make a visit to this location an annual event. But on to the property itself..... This property is elegant, spacious, well designed and appointed. The bedding, bath, laundry, and kitchen furnishings provided by Julie and Jenelle cover just about anything and everything you'll need. The location is quiet and secluded. Water access to both a main lake channel and a quiet cove is only a few steps away. The private dock is in the cove, so your personal watercraft are not subjected to the traffic, beating, and constant wave action of a busy channel. 2 kayaks are included to enhance your lake experience. The well-designed and maintained boat ramp makes it easy to launch and recover your own watercraft. Techies are well-served. There are large flat-screen TVs and DVD players throughout the house. Wifi Internet access is limited but sufficient for casual web browsing and e-mail retrieval.

Beautiful Location!

The property was perfect for all ages in our family (13-80). The porch, the yard and the dock are all relaxing spots for sitting and watching the lake. The cove is peaceful and safe to play/swim in the water with minimal boat traffic. After using the kayaks for a couple of days, we rented a boat for a day from Fish Springs Marina which was close by on land and water. The house was well appointed. As mentioned in the description, the Wi-Fi/internet is patchy but the adults did not mind! We will be back!

Picturesque Peninsula Location

Best lake access lot of any home we’ve ever stayed in on Watauga Lake. The dock and kayaks, along with the provided vests, made exploring the lake incredibly easy. Home is a beautiful combination of rustic mountain cabin with modern upgrades. Lot has great privacy and views and the fire pit affords views of the lake on both sides of the peninsula. The whole family and our dogs had an awesome time. It was a great get away!
