Fantastic view in a beautiful home!

We had my husband’s 50th surprised birthday party there! We had no idea that there was a home for renting in Lakeside. When we go out fishing or just for sport, we have mostly used the Steal Creek Park boat ramp. The only road into and out of the park, is the same road that this beautiful property is located. We had a great and wonderful time!

Great stay on Lake Whitney

Great property with excellent lake views. It was clean, quiet and well equipped. There was plenty of room for our family to stretch out. We enjoyed games indoors and out. Overall great stay. We would come again in the future.

Weekend at the lake

Nice space

Very clean, with a very nice spacious stay as well. Love the view and the property. House has plenty of sleeping areas for children and for everyone to enjoy their stay. The notes around the house help a ton too!

Excellent Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time here at the lodge. Perfect fit for 3 families to hangout, eat meals & play games. The kids enjoyed exploring the yard/trail down to the lake. Great deck seating. Thankful to have enjoyed this lodge.

Excellent, well-managed house for groups

We really enjoyed our visit. The house was easy to find and in a nice location, short distance from the water. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, everything clean and well maintained. Great deck area for hanging out, and a nice fire pit.

Family Wedding Weekend

We are locals that needed extra space for out of state wedding guests. The house was comfortable and the views are beautiful! Ample parking and great location. 5 stars!!!!! Side note: this house is best suited for groups that play and retire at night around the same time. The beautiful high ceilings and loftiness transmit loud laughing and game playing upstairs to sleeping guests, but the openess and views make up for it!

Great Place to Stay

There were 11 of us that stayed here and it was great. We had plenty of room for everyone. It was cold, so we didn’t do much outside, but the kids still walked down to the lake and played some horse shoes. Would have been even better if the weather would have cooperated.

Family getaway

My wife and I met our three grown children for a weekend get together. The house was big, clean and very nice - everything in the description. Nice view of the lake. We were able take advantage of the grill, corn hole and horseshoes. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit and make s’mores they left because the Aggies were beating ‘Bama!!!! WHOOP!
