The yard includes a camp fire pit and bbq area. There is a swing and wildflower garden. We liked that this mom-and-pop business was clean though dated. The room freshener smell was overwhelming, but once we found it and set it outside, the fan and open window cleared out most of the "freshening" scent. The two cabins look much newer (at a distance).

It is very rural & quiet. The grounds are well kept. The building is older, but clean and well kept. The staff were very nice. I would stay here again.

Friendly and Comfortable

Staff was just very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Probably the best motel towels ever. It's quaint and rustic - like stepping back into your family vacations of the 70's, with a few updates. Would absolutely stay there again.

Great for skiers

I booked a stay so that I could ski Cascade at night, Nordic Mountain the next day. I wanted a motel between the two locations. The owners were very helpful, giving me directions to a breakfast spot on my route in the morning that was terrific. The decor is kitschy/vintage /old school motel but clean and comfortable. They provide an in-room coffee maker and the coffee was quite good. There is also in-room microwave and fridge, which is convenient. If you have a line in the sand about no outside entrances, then this will not work for you, although I felt safe bc its in a quiet area and the owners live on the premises.I hope to return next ski season!

Well kept, older, motel

Crossroads is an older motel (with a couple of modern cabins) that is well kept, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Rooms are clean, with flat screen tv and limited cable tv channels. Dogs are allowed, and their is boat parking. While the motel is the older single story version we all knew from the 60's, it has been well maintained. While the beds are a little firmer than I like, I still got 3 nights of good sleep. Plus in room coffee is Seattle's Best, which is considerably better than your usual generic dreck. Easy to get to just off the highway. Skip the chain, support a local family running a good quality place.
