Overall it was a great stay. The grounds of the property is well maintained with fruit trees such as Bananas, Sour Sop, Mango, Almond, Ackee etc. The pool area is well lit and appears safe. The property is 2mins drive to a secure beach front. I would book this again.

Perfect for solo female traveler!

Amazing stay. Chris the caretaker is so accommodating and makes sure you are having a good time. I stayed for a few weeks and everyone I met was incredibly nice and friendly. Would definitely stay again! Always felt safe and comfortable.

Great place!

Perfect place for a getaway to Bamboo Blu And Ochos! Simple and easy , clean and has everything you need to include air conditioning! A short walk to one of best beaches in the area and one light away from the coastal highway back to Kingston. Great find!

I loved the apartment, the caretaker was great, the pass to the beach is a bonus. The only reason I did not give 5stars was because the pool should be able to be used by all guests on the estate not just the priority of the 3bed villa. I was fortunate that the guests there were allowing me to use it, you still feel a bit awkward as you feel you are intruding. Housekeeping every few days would be a good touch too. That said I had a restful 2 weeks at the apartment. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. The ground surrounding are beautiful. I would return without hesitation and I would recommend the property also.

Love the property .. chris is very pleasant and attentive. The wifi and TV werent working..but otherwise nice place to stay . Need a little more appeal re studio/ had creaters here and there but still a quiet and lovely place.

We went there for the weekend with my family as Alvin is my cousin I was pleasantly surprised that the property was a lot better than expectations The property is well nice it is well prepared to receive international guests as it is better than I lot of hotels we have visited The caretaker is very good he has not stopped working even on the Sunday The private estate is secure also a great beach close by which made the holiday for the kids as they loved the swimming pool also the beach the most I just loved this vacation Alvin we will be back

Patiently waiting in paradise

We go to Jamaica yearly for Reggae Month; this is the longest time I’ve stayed in Jamaica- an entire month. We normally stay in all-inclusive hotels, but this time we wanted to stay longer in a villa for a bit more privacy. Patiently waiting, the villa was everything. we expected and more. Chris, the manager, and Alvin, the owner, were the perfect hosts; we couldn't ask for any more, and the villa was perfect and great value for money.

The property is beautiful

The caretaker Chris was very nice. He made sure we had everything that we needed. I just would not use the driver Sugar to take me anywhere. Outside of that the visit was lovely.

Beautiful getaway

Great location close to the beach with very well maintained beautiful gardens. We stayed in the studio apartment which is very spacious and had everything we needed to have a little home away from home. The caretaker Chris was there to help with anything we needed and the property manager Alvin was also there during our stay. He was welcoming and agreeable. We enjoyed eating fresh ackee from the trees on the property and spent some time refreshing ourselves in the pool. Only one small caveat, once a new group moved into “the big house” they refused to have anyone else use the communal pool as it is indicated on the site. I think they should learn to read and be aware that this is a shared pool amongst the multiple (5) rooms/apartments on the grounds. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us.

Patiently Waiting

We enjoyed our stay but did not enjoy the hospitality of the host upon "checking in" as it really set a bad vibe from the beginning of a relaxing vacation that we were both looking forward to. The host also told us to cut the air off when not in the room, which is crazy as it takes twice as long to cool it back down. We also had roaches running over my feet when using the bathroom at night, ants were coming through the huge gap under the front door but we never said a word as was more aggravated with the damn pool rules,,, really??? as we were the only ones who even used that pool in the 8 days we were there? Loved the location, loved the young gentleman who took care of the yard as he works very hard to keep it beautiful, but no, we will not be back for another stay at this villa.

Be careful the owner double books the Property

When we arrived at the property at 10pm there was no local number to contact the property manager. We drove up and found a gentleman outside who we discovered was the property manager. We asked him about our room and gound out the room had been booked and provided to someone else. I called the owner in the UK. He said the room was not double booked and was available. The property manager confirmed to us that he is not in charge of the booking and the owner double booked it. It was a nightmare. We tried booking another property but it was late. We eventually got another unit at the same property much smaller than the original one we booked. Plrase stay somewhere else the owner is exceptionally rude. The proprty mamager was pleasant and courteous.

patiently waiting

over all ill give this stay an 6/10. the beds were comfy and the property was safe and clean. the hot water worked but had some times were it went out but when it worked it was HOTT!! also the shower had a fishy smell and the ac worked only two days, last day of stay it went out and it was hot and muggy. we had clean towels and linen when needed. over all it was on okay stay. thanks to the nice staff and quietness.

Absolutely Perfect

Villa Patiently Waiting reminds me of a historic plantation house. It stretches across lush greenery, has crisp white walls and a bright red roof. Within this house are three rental apartments; our studio, the “Big House” (which would be amazing for a large family to use) and a two bedroom apartment. We had a fully functional kitchen, excellent internet service and a large television with a full line up of channels to view. Our studio was bright with light, pleasingly decorated and housed two very comfortable beds. The property was beautiful but the heart of our holiday were the people who took care of us. Thank you to Chris, who handled any of our requests from excursions to seafood; to O’Neil who tended the grounds and always had a smile and a wave and to Betty who tirelessly tended to the housekeeping. We were sad to say goodbye.

Great place to stay

This was my third trip to Jamaica and I will definitely come back to “Patiently Waiting”. The entire staff is constantly working to make your stay a great experience and to keep the property clean. Thank you for everything Chris Ludford, your hospitality will definitely make me come back to this property 😁

I like The property because it is private, peaceful, hatred with security and clean. The street the property is location on is very quaint, and has an historic feel. The street is next to the Riu resort with tall palm trees, and large beautiful properties. The staff was also available no matter what time of the day, evening, or night, the will go above and behind for your comfort. Property manager Mr. Christopher is always professional and courteous. The property has a pool however just 5 mins walk around the corner there is a private beach with a restaurant that is available for your use, also we were give a card to take with us for a 15% discount at the restaurant on the private beach. Beach was clean staff is very friendly. The drain in the kitchen has an issue, it smells a bit but the property manager came right away to take care of our concerns and everything was back to normal. What I don’t like about the studio are the bedding very uncomfortable, creates lots of lints on your clothes not ok, the mattress and pillow protectors make you hot ( it’s like plastic), called the property manager about the issue he explained that the covers are in place to protect the mattress and pillows, however he changed all the bedding to our comfort. Overall I would stay at this studio again, because everything you needs is accessible in the area, we ate local, food was inexpensive, area felt save, amazing supermarket was just minutes walk down the street. Great staff and beaches.
