This property is AMAZING! It was our last night in Spain and we wanted to be closer to the airport so we could fly out the next day. Oh how I wish we had planned better and had more time to spend at the Hotel de Castillo de Monda! The views are spectacular and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! Loved it!

A unique hotel with character. All the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Our room was excellent, with a wonderful view of the surrounding area from the terrace. The food and extensive wine list in the restaurant were impressive.

Amazing and intimate

An absolute gem. Our room had a private terrace and the uniqueness of the hotel meant every room was different. The garden pool area was exquisite, breathtaking views from every corner, every table had privacy and surrounded by beauty, with a great snack menu. The restaurant was top class too. Shocking experience. Booking confirmed twice. Long dive to hotel. The drive through Monda to it is simply a nightmare I would never repeat. Narrow, overparked streets. A route best suite for a bicycle. And then, at the end of it all, they deny the booking. A wedding had taken over the hotel. Avoid.

Wonderful environment

Really enjoyed our stay here, nice and peaceful, with very attentive staff. Very picturesque and beautiful town. Be warned though it's a very hilly environment. The restaurant is nice too but for some traditional Spanish cuisine try Pena Flamenca Alcazaria in the town but you'll need Google translate if you don't speak Spanish

Huge wow factor

Huge wow factor seeing this place from the road and then driving up the super steep road to it. Its as good as any Parador and we had a lovely time here - the top floor terrace and the restaurant was excellent.
