2 bedroom flat in the most peaceful street in the village of Monchique. 25min drive from quieter beaches in the West and busier ones in the South. if you're looking to avoid the Touristy busy-ness, this is a good place for that. Monchique boasts of some amazing walking trails, natural sprint Spa, genuine great produce on the food and drink front and an amazing sense of community. For example, you can go to the big supermarket and chances are, the lady at the checkout will know every other person There’s also a large public pool in a beautiful outdoor space that is free entry 5 minute walk away. there's lots to see and to do

Water heating system is very inconsistent--temperature fluctuates madly when you shower. Also need some more supplies--just a few extra toilet papers would be appreciated. The apartment is very nice and the view is incredible--worth the three flights of stairs! Monchique is a wonderful little village.
