Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.Le logement est idéalement situé, face à la plage, et à quelques mètres de la rue piétonne et de ses commerces.Les photos sont fidèles à la réalité.La vue depuis le salon est juste magnifique, conformément à la photo principale de l'annonce. La vue depuis la terrasse de la chambre est également très sympa, et il est agréable de s'y installer pour déjeuner face à la mer.Le logement est parfaitement adapté pour deux personnes, très bien équipé (il ne manque absolument rien !), lumineux et très confortable à tous points de vue (dont la literie).La propreté à notre arrivée était absolument irréprochable.Catherine et Philippe sont des hôtes accueillants qui ont su prendre le temps de nous apporter leurs conseils sur notre programme de visites, et fait preuve d'une grande réactivité lorsque nous avons signalé un petit problème de plomberie qui a ainsi été résolu dans l'heure.Seuls petits points d'attention :- la pression de l'eau de la douche qui est un peu faible - les frais de ménage de fin de séjour plus élevés par rapport à ce dont nous avons l'habitude

This centrally located and recently renovated apartment had everything we needed plus a stunning ocean and beach view. Unbelievable sunrises and -sets, day after day. Catherine’s reception and introduction to the apartment was very much appreciated. Everything was very easy for a great and relaxing stay!

Wonderful Experience and a Great Location

Philippe and Catherine were always available and responded quickly on the few occasions I had a question. The apartment is well appointed and has remarkable views. The beach is right across the street and there are two balconies. I will be back!

Wonderful Setting

A great apartment in a very advantageous location in Menton, a wonderful small city along the French Riviera. The apartment is on the first floor of a heritage building up one flight of stairs. There is a vintage elevator but we preferred to take the stairs not being used to an older manual elevator. Their are two balconies each with gorgeous views out to the promenade and beach. Everything is on one level however a staircase leads to an upper bedroom which is used only by the owner. The space is characterful with high ceilings and windows consistent with the elegant style of this earlier period. The kitchen is very compact but complete and functional. The hosts provided a personable service and Catherine was gracious regarding our misunderstanding of the cleaning as it was our first exeperience with Vrbo.

Great holiday in Menton

A great base for a short holiday in Menton. Location is fantastic and we had a warm welcome by Catherine. We enjoyed overlooking the sea and beaches, and it was fun to watch the Lemon Festival floats pass by from the balcony.

Très bon séjour

Un accueil de qualité qui change tout. Catherine a pris le temps de nous recevoir, de faire le tour de l’appartement, nous donner les lieux à visiter et les endroits où sortir (sans oublier un petit présent ). L’appartement est très bien situé, la vue mer est un vrai régal et les équipements correspondent à l’annonce. Idéal pour découvrir cette très belle ville.

10 days in Menton

This apartment is just as pictured. Fabulous view, and very centrally located, steps from the great fresh market as well as shopping and restaurants. It is cosy (code for not big!) but perfect for 2 and the large windows and 2 decks expand the feel of the place and provide extra lounging space. Quick train ride to Monaco, Nice, Ventimiglia and a lovely walk to Italy! Plus a free Navigator bus at your doorstep to take you to the train station. Only missing a washer. Would have liked more towels to have been provided. But a great spot. Catherine met us and gave us a great introduction to the apartment and Menton and Philipe met us at ‘check out’. They are lovely and helpful.

Perfekte Lage, 50m zum Strand, 100m zum wunderschönen Zentrum. Ein großartig renoviertes denkmalgeschütztes Haus, direkter Meerblick. Mit viel Intelligenz eingerichtet, es ist wirklich alles vorhsnden, was man braucht. Sehr nette Übergabe, Kontakt jederzeit möglich. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Great location to all facilities, beach, restaurants, train and buses. The property was excellent, however needed maintenance on the entry door (difficult to open) and the pillows needed updating. We would stay at this property again.

Fabulous Month

Monton is one of the most beautiful places I have experienced. The month here was exquisite!! Four areas to enjoy- the harbor is gorgeous. The beach and promenade are gorgeous! Old town is fun with stores and restaurants. And outside of Old Town is also fun with wonderful shops and restaurants! The town has a train staton and the train rides along the Cote D’Jour and into Italy. The train is a wonderful way to experience other areas along the Mediterranean! No need to have a car! Our apartment, Laurie’s Dream is great! It overlooks the beach and the promenade which is filled with wonderful restaurants (as are the harbor and the town.)Two balconies overlook the sea, one which gets the morning sun, the second the afternoon sun. The apartment is very well located, right down the street from the market and right around the corner from old Town. And the best thing about the apartment is Catherine and her husband Phillipe. They are available to answer questions, make recommendations, and to take care that everything in the apartment is fine. And they are super friendly!! Thank you, Catherine and Philip! We loved our month in Menton! Cece and Fred USA

Perfect spot!

Laurie's Dream was the perfect place for us to stay on our recent week in Menton. The apartment is beautiful with great sunlight, cute balconies, and an incredible view of the sea. It is SO convenient to cafes, the market, and the beach. It is decorated nicely, is very clean, and had everything we needed to live comfortably for the week-- even beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella in case it rained. The bedroom was quiet and dark. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would gladly return here any time-- many thanks!

Better than expected

We arrived at our destination and were warmly greeted by Catherine. She was so pleasant and personable. She took us to the apartment and showed us where things were and went over all kinds of helpful info- trains, bus schedules , walks, hikes. There were beach chairs and beach towels too, which was great. Lots of amenities in the apartment The two balconies are perfect for watching the world go by - lots to do in Menton and area or just relax at the beach We have stayed at a number of VRBO’s and Catherine was top notch - her husband Philip popped by at check out and he was also very personable and easy to chat with too Aces for sure Jan and Jim - Ontario Canada
