Family cheer trip

Terribly dirty and violated privacy

Sandestin itself as a resort is incredible. This particular host however is lacking. When we arrived it was quite disgusting. I immediately took photos and sent them directly to the owner. I received no response. I messaged the owner on the app then and no reply either. Found out later he sent a crew without notifying us or requesting permission. They entered while we were gone and took photos without our permission and STILL DIDNT CLEAN IT. He admitted to this violation on a recorded call and VRBO did NOTHING. Beware- he supposedly has 15 properties with VRBO and is now known to them for privacy violations.

Great Location, Loved the Amenities

My husband and I traveled to Destin to visit family who lives nearby. This property was in close proximity to the airport, beach, and other local attractions but didn't feel "touristy". The golf cart was a very nice touch, and we made use of the tunnel that crosses 98 to access the guest pool, Baytowne Wharf, and the grocery store. The home was in great shape and the owner was quick to respond with a maintenance visit when the AC wasn't working properly on our first day. The grill could use some TLC and I do think that the home could use a good DEEP clean (walls, baseboard, doors, etc.) but otherwise this property was perfect for our 4 night/5day trip and we would book again!

Golf cart was awesome. Location was great. Condo was good - needs some TLC but otherwise it was fine. The rules/contracts that we were given should be explained before you put your money down. We had a great vacation and would stay again.

Quick beach getaway

My husband and I rented this unit for a quick beach getaway. Everything was fabulous! 3 mins to beach. Close to many restaurants. We had a lovely time! Would rent again for sure!

The best!!

We really can’t say enough about how amazing our trip was in Sandestin. Silvano, the property manager is amazing and very quick to respond. The property is fantastic and perfect for our family of 5. The golf cart is such a great bonus! We will be back for sure! This property is a must to rent!

Hilton Sandestin Resort

Except for the electrical sockets in all the restrooms were not inoperable, bulbs out in the light fixture over the dining table and no WIFI in the entire resort for hours. Manager responded within a timely manner, but no resolution during our stay. Other than that, the unit was modernized and very nice! We had an enjoyable stay!

With access to the golf cart, we were able to zip over to bayside for dinner and live music; visit friends staying at other condos; meet new friends at the pool; park near the beach to work on our tan.

Summer Vacay

I cannot say enough great things about our experience!! Condo was super clean and updated!! We loved the convenience of the location!! Super short golf cart drive to the beach and neighborhood pool!! This was very important with our little ones.My oldest loved fishing right in the backyard!! Silvano is an awesome host!! His communication skills are very prompt and on point!! He even talked me though a mishap(that ended up not even being a mishap.. ha) All in all,we had a wonderful trip!! I would most definitely book again!

Don’t rent this unit

All the units are the same in this neighborhood so customer service is what separates mediocre from good or great. Our property manager had a tone like he didn’t want to be bothered to do his job. We had questions about check in and parking and he was borderline rude. Also there very limited supplies(2 trash bags for a week and no laundry detergent for the washing machine) and a travel size container of dish liquid. Also the beach chairs and toys looked like they had been there since the 90s. Lastly the master bath drain was clogged. The only redeeming qualities of this unit was the friendly maintenance man and the golf cart.

Great location, Loved the Golf Cart!!

Always love our time in Baytowne! Went to the Village Baytowne Wharf, visited Santa Rosa, went outlet shopping, visited Destin Commons. Loved taking the golf cart to shop at Grand Boulevard, Parlor Donuts, Ben & Jerry's and even got our nails done. Very relaxing place, loved the water back view!

Enjoyed our stay very much!

My husband, my little boy and I got there on Wednesday and then my son and daughter-in-law arrived on Friday. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The golf cart came in handy as well. The owner always answered me promptly if I had any questions are concerns. I highly recommend this home away from home. The beach is close and stores. The private beach is very crowded, but it’s lovely. They have a restaurant, pool, fun things to rent. If you want a good spot get there early.

Great location!

We really enjoyed using the golf cart all week to get around. We’ve stayed in numerous locations within Sandestin, and this location has been our favorite! It’s super close to the beach, pool, and a hop & skip over to the plaza where the Maple Biscuit Company is. That made lunch easy each day! There are sand toys and a bogey board (at this time) in the courtyard, just so you can plan accordingly. We were heading out to buy some when we found these to borrow. As soon as we walked into the unit it smelled clean! Always a good sign! Beds were comfy, living room is decorated very nicely. The property manager is top notch and always answered quickly (which was not expected, but he did it anyway!) Great management service, great location, great family vacation! Thanks again!
