Great location in Milwaukee

Nice property in a very convenient area and nice neighborhood. Only down fall property wasn’t ready for our check in hadn’t been cleaned from previous booking.

Clean, close to lots and good amount of space.

Property was very clean and we had everything we needed. They even had some games my kids enjoyed playing with. Location is close to a lot of things we wanted to do. Parking wasn’t too difficult on the street. Only thing to note is king bed is on first floor in back but is not a walled in room with door. Some privacy with wall dividers but not fully private. We didn’t mind because we were just with our two kids.

Beautiful home, broken city

This home has only one flaw, the city of Milwaukee has corrupt leaders and crime is high. We enjoyed the open layout with plenty of seating. The beds are comfy and water pressure in the shower, fantastic. We were sad to come out to our car window busted out in the morning.

Cute house for a small group

This is a cute and clean property in a nice neighborhood (though finding a parking spot is hard), with room for a small group of travelers. The booking process was a little frustrating compared to other times we've booked through VRBO, but we're glad we got it figured out because it was a nice place to stay. It's within walking distance to some nice restaurants and cafés (our favorite was Rochambo on Brady Street). My only real complaint is that the bath towels were kind of small and not the softest. Otherwise everything was great! We really enjoyed our stay. Would book again!

A place to Lay Your Head

The only TV in the is in the living room. The bathroom smelled like urine. If you don't get back early it's hard to find a close parking spot. You have to get overnight parking passes to park on the street. If anyone elderly or handicapped is in your party, there are steps leading up to the house. The lighting upstairs is poor. Jacob, my sister's & I thoroughly enjoyed your home & our visit to Milwaukee! Your home was clean & comfortable. Great beds! We felt safe to walk in the different neighborhoods. Wonderful stay

We had a great stay thanks to Jake. The house was clean and he made everything very accessible (extra linens, kitchen items etc) and even brought us extra towels. My group fit well in the space (there were 8 of us) and we enjoyed our time there. Jake was also very responsive! Thanks for a great stay :)

Not what we came for

I booked this property after carefully reading all reviews and amenities. Upon arrival, while punching in the code on the door, I could smell marijuana. Turned out that the property was completely saturated in weed and cigarette smells. It was very obviously partied in right before we arrived. The property had been turned around w/o attempt to rid the spots and smells from the rager that was hosted here. I immediately contacted the hosts who told me to open a window to air it out. It was 30 degrees out. Despite all efforts with Febreeze, open windows and an air filter, we were disgusted. ALL of our clothes and blankets were rank. It was so disappointing. The kids were so grossed out they didn't want to eat there. Hosts were dismissive. They did eventually offer a partial refund after my husband finally connected with them and told them how disgusting the situation was. VRBO was NO help. Our family has traveled quite a bit using rental properties and we have never experienced anything like this.

Great little getaway spot

Overall great stay! Couple of good restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance. We were able to walk to the grocery store and grab a few necessities. Short car ride to downtown and only about a 20 minute car ride to the airport. Home was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
