Check-in took almost 30 minutes. Dogs on property without leash, barking consistently in and outside of the facility. Staff went into my room while I was still checked in and left door wide open with my valuables inside. Absolutely unacceptable.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The beds were decently comfortable. The bathroom, while clean, could use a refurb. The tub was clean but a bit dingy looking and the sink had some stains that looked like burn marks. The ac worked well, but was extremely loud and we had to switch it over to fan only in order to be able to sleep. Overall it was about what you'd expect from a budget hotel. A decent choice if you're looking for a decently priced, no frills room for a night or two.

This is not the best hotel I've stayed, but it IS the best in this price range. Super nice reception, and the room was spartan but very clean and correct. I stayed here as a pause in the middle of a long trip, and slept great. Also, there's a remarkable, higher-end restaurant nearby, Vault & Cellar, which was a welcome break from the drive. I'll stay here every time I make this trip.
