We often are asked, “What is Brookledge”? Great question! We are not a 5 star luxury hotel, we are a 5 tree happy to be nature getaway. If you are looking for 1,000 count sheets and fine china, Brookledge is not it. If you are looking for stars in the sky, trees and a comfy bed, that is us!
Here are some things to expect
Brookledge was once a Girls Camp called Girls Inc. We still have many buildings, pavilions, bath houses and trails from the original camp. When you step outside, you will most likely see chipmunks scurrying from tree to tree. They were here first, but they pay rent in acorns. You may get a sudden urge to walk on the trails. It happens, I don’t know why!?!?
Why would you ever want to come here? That is an easy question to answer.
You can look up at night and see millions of stars and fireflies in the field. When you take that walk, you will see deer tracks and hear the sound of the creek. The pond lovingly called the Ice Bucket will beckon you to skip rocks or possibly be brave enough to jump in. You will have access to VHS tapes, swimming, fishing or an epic game of cornhole. Loser does the dishes! The floating dock holds on tightly to a green canoe. Time with family and friends around a campfire with S’mores of course! Visit our library and enjoy a book in our hammocks.
If you are the type of person that loves flannel shirts, thinks that music with a guitar solo is a must and can’t walk past a dog without petting it then Brookledge is your place. We hope that you will not be a renter, but our guest. Pull up an Adirondack chair, grab a root beer and join us. Welcome to Brookledge my friend!

Wonderful Getaway!
Our family of six had an incredible stay at Brookledge Treehouse Lodge. The property offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. We enjoyed the ice bucket pond, which was a hit with the kids for both swimming and canoeing. The hikes around the area were beautiful, and we had a blast with the various yard games provided. We had originally planned to visit the nearby racetrack, but Brookledge was so charming and engaging that we ended up spending our entire weekend on-site. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return!

Father’s Day Win!
Our quick overnight stay for Father’s Day was a hit with our family of 6. The cabin was even lovelier in person and the whole Brookledge setting was so serene and beautiful. Helen took great care of us! Everyone agreed we want to come again and stay longer.

Lovely log cabin in beautiful, serene setting!
My husband, adult son and I sent three nights in this peaceful place. Just off a main road and duper convenient to Middle Grove and Saratoga, not far from beautiful Lake George and Lake Placid which we drove to afterwards.
This lodge has everything and more.
It’s a ten out of ten!
