The air conditioning in the room was nearly non existent and has not been replaced since the construction of the building in the 1950s. The toilet in the room malfunctioned multiple times as well as the plumbing in the shower. The property was decorated adorable and the restaurant was nice. However even with all of its decor charm I would not stay here again as the basics of air conditioning and functional plumbing were lacking.

Great Location

I stayed 4 nights with my Daughter. We had a balcony room. We enjoyed watching the sun rise from the balcony. And ate pizza for dinner on the balcony. The staff were great. I was only able to eat dinner at the restaurant one night. I had pasta, my Daughter had fish nuggets, we shared a coconut water (it was in a real coconut), and I had churros. I loved the ambience of being right on the water with great food, great music and great company. The airport was approx 30 mins from hotel. South beach was approx the same distance depending on the time of day.

staff was nice but it was a bit loud due to the events and yachts parking at the property throughout the day. this was something we were aware of when booking but online it said the events ended at 9pm and the noise didn’t end until closer to 11/12. rooms were decently clean considering we were told there was a housekeeping shortage but the sink was partially broken - the right handle on the faucet did not work

I liked that the rooms were clean and they changed the bedding and towels for us daily. I also liked the balcony and the view from the room. Although, there is no microwave in the rooms.

I arrived for my 4pm check in on 4/16/2025 and my room was not ready. I didn't get my room key until around 7pm. The front desk held my bag and I left to go get some food but I really wanted access to my room to freshen up. This was around 4:45 pmthat I arrived.
