We stayed here (3 level Aquarina Sunnyland beach house) for 5 nights with our teenage daughters, their friends, and my elderly mother-in-law.
The location:
Out of the way, but worth it to us. We chose to fly into Orlando Sanford and drove to this rental. It took about 1.5 hours to make the trip; traffic was minimal.
Well south of Melbourne and as a result there was practically no one on the beach with us.
I recommend Publix grocery store to the north on Hwy A1A for food and supplies. They have pretty much everything you will need. Additional paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues) and more food that you think you will need.
I'd suggest getting bottled water to drink. The tap water smells.
If you need any beach clothing / flip flops, then I'd recommend either Surf Style or Ron John's.
The view:
3rd level (bedroom level) is the best. The view from the 2nd level (kitchen/living room) is not as good but you can still see the water; just not the sand (because the dune and vegetation obscures the view some)
The activities;
There is a seafood restaurant a couple miles to the north. New England pub and grill.
The Sebastian inlet is a few miles to the south and it is worth going to. It is easy to drive to and park. Lots of wildlife and large fish to see. They have good food there too.
Be advised; this house has steep stairs on all levels and is not a good choice if you have bad knees / hips or mobility problems.
House has beach chairs, umbrella
