Loved this cabin and will definitely be back. Everything was wonderful from the house itself to the hot tub and fishing. We bought our 18yr old son with a few friends and they loved taking over the basement area and the outdoors. Husband and I spent most our time on the screened porch in front of a fire either playing games or watching TV. Beds were all comfy and the cabin has everything we needed. Thank you again.

This was a really nice cabin and the host was very responsive. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. An amazing view of the river from back porch. Easily one of the nicest cabins I’ve stayed in and would highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed with another couple for an extended weekend getaway for our anniversary. The home was amazing! Beautiful, fully equipped and plenty of space. The property was perfect, we could walk right out to the river work easy access to get in and enjoy the water. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Family Holiday

Highly recommend Trout Haven. We had 7 in our group and the cabin was perfect. Plenty of family time but also opportunities for privacy or going off in smaller groups. The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed. The river was so relaxing and the sound of it from the porch was wonderful. Communications with the owner were easy and everything went very smoothly. It was our second visit and we hope to go back.

Absolute perfection

We had the most amazing vacation in this gorgeous location. It set up perfectly for our group and we made endless memories. My husband and 7 year old little boy caught an impressive trout! It was an ideal setup for all of my family members with something special to offer to everyone! I cant recommend this place enough!

Had a great stay! Everything was as advertised. Cabin was awesome and had everything we needed to prepare meals and bbq. Hot tub can use some attention and the driveway is short and steep. Overall we had an awesome time!

Walk the Line in McCaysville and Copperhill

This property is fantastic. The location on the river, layout (both inside and outside), the quality of the cabin, the amenities, and the hosts are all unbelievable. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 kids inside. Large grass side yard leaves plenty of room for kids to play outside. Screened in back porch is perfect for hanging out in the evenings. Mccaysville and Copperhill are nearby and a great town. Blue Ridge is an easy drive. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Had a great time with the family over the 4th for a nice weekend getaway. Trout Haven is fantastic, even better in person. We had 4 adults and a 6 yo grand-daughter. Plenty of room for everyone. She loved hanging down by the river (we all did) and learning how to cast. First thing you notice getting out of the car is the sound of the river. A very relaxing and fun stay. We look forward to visiting again.

Trout Galore

Thanksgiving with the family at a beautiful cabin, with the best trout fishing on Fighting Town Creek. We watched Christmas movies by the outdoor fireplace after dinner. Went on several walks and met the sweetest dog Lily who joined us :) Caught several Trout Rainbow and one Brown all good size !

You will not be disappointed in your stay at this beautiful river front home! We had an amazing fall getaway. Listening to the river while sitting on the screened in porch with a fire going was sublime! You have a wonderful view of the river from the screened in porch. We will be back!

Amazing time @ Trout Haven!

We have stayed in this area at multiple rentals over the past 15 years and our time at Trout Haven ranks in the top 3 easily. Great location, wonderful home, and fantastic surroundings. It was wonderful to have a hot tub large enough for 4 adults to sit comfortably in. The river access was excellent and the views were simply stunning. Texted back and forth with the owner and she was always quick to respond and helpful. Would definitely rent here again!!

Beautiful Location on a Creek

The house is amazing and the location is beautiful. There were 9 of us at the house and it worked out great. We saw deer everyday and the scenery is beautiful. The creek is amazing to listen to and sit by and we enjoyed it so much. The house is close to McCaysville and Blueridge with plenty to do and places to eat. The drive up to the house and directions will be clear once you get to the house. The owner is very responsive if you have questions or concerns. We would definitely book again.

Everything about this home was beautiful! We had 3 families with plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves and the company. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, playing pool and the creek. The driveway is long and narrow but don’t let that fool you, when you reach the top it’s as close to heaven as you can get. As secluded as you are it’s just a short trip to town. This was a perfect trip for our entire family.
