This property provides the perfect mountain getaway with level, spacious yard, creekside firepit and hot tub on the covered terrace level porch, all overlooking the pristine waters of Fightingtown Creek. Spacious log home, with open floor plan featuring 2 bedrooms on the main level, an open sleeping loft, and a bunk room on the terrace level, providing comfortable sleeping amenities for up to 10. All wood interior, floor to ceiling great room fireplace with gas logs, granite countertops & newly updated kitchen shelving. Exposed beams & vaulted ceilings and lots of windows let ample sunshine in & constant enjoyment of the view, while Fightingtown Creek plays a mountain melody just steps away from your door. Located less than 5 min to McCaysville with great shopping & restaurants & 15 min to historic downtown Blue Ridge.
** Please Note: For stays longer than 14 days, a mandatory mid-stay cleaning is required. This cleaning will be scheduled during your stay and is charged at the same rate as the standard cleaning fee. If the property requires additional cleaning due to excessive mess or damage, extra charges may apply.**

Peaceful Cabin

Very relaxing stay at this peaceful cabin. Picturesque views with lots a of wildlife. Did a little fishing and floating in the creek. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Troutlandia. The cabin was clean and the view was beautiful. The kids loved fishing in Fightingtown creek. They caught several fish.

We loved Troutlandia.

The cabin was very clean and well equipped for almost all of our needs. The creek was amazing and the kids loved floating over the rapids on their tubes. The only drawback was the lack of a restroom in the bunk room so they had to go upstairs during the night. The directions to the cabin could be improved by putting a small sign with an arrow that points to the drive. I highly recommend the Georgia mountains for a laid back, non commercialized stay. We were able to do rafting, horseback riding, gem mining, putt putt, and even a trip to the Lost Sea. The fire pit was excellent for smores and wiener roasting.
