Great place to stay only recommendation would be to choose a room away from the front of the hotel because it gets very loud at night lots of traffic and people walking around at night

My family stayed at this hotel in last Feb 13-14 2025. At that time everything went well. The staffs were kind and the room condition was not bad as it described even the property was still on progress. BUT after one month later, I noticed that they made a pre-authorized payment with my credit card. I have written mails about the problem twice. They have not answered yet. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY.

The staff of the Hotel was extremely cooperative with request to change rooms and assisted with the baggage for the move. The check in and check out was timely. The Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Plaza

The staff was wonderful, very kind. But the room? The sink in the bathroom had a terrible smell. No amount of water would get rid of it. There were no towel rods, or hooks in the bathroom. The walls of the room were like paper. I could hear the people in the next room have sex, as though they were in the bed with me. They weren't. No coffee to be had in the hotel either.

I really wanted to love this property. The front desk staff was friendly and the lobby was beautiful, and the location is perfect, close to Machado Plaza. However i booked this bc it had an exceptional rating of 9.2 and was willing to pay a bit more to have an exceptional experience. I was there during a heat wave and was not told at check in the the pool was not available, i had to discover that on my own. I was VERY disappointed since this was a major feature they are boasting. They never apologized or offered any compensation of any kind.Also I personally dont like ppl going in my room when i stay places so i put the "do not disturb " sign on the door when leaving and when i came back housekeeping had gone in anyways. That really upset me. The floor looked clean except when walking around barefooted, my feet got so dirty, they were almost black! I had to clean them before getting in bed! I suspect they sweep but don't mop. I think I will try a different hotel next time.

Check in for Tierra Marina centro historico was quick and easy I had no issues on arrival. You pay when you check-in. The staff is very friendly and very helpful with any questions you may have. They explain your amenities that are available during your stay. The rooms have AC, bath toiletries a blow dryer a beautiful swimming pool. The hotel itself is very modern and new beautiful architecture throughout the entire building. This hotel is very clean and fresh.This location is very safe and calm and just steps away from many historic landmarks that you must visit. You will be close to many great eateries/Shops in the area. The male staff was very kind and friendly he was a great host as was also Ximena, she was always very pleased to see you with a smile in her face. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to visit soon!
