Welcome to Carson's Cottage! A brand new four season cottage located on Lake of Islands, a quiet lake with only 24 other lots around. You will instantly fall for the waterfront views which is a short walk from the back door, the natural sounds of nature and all you will need to make your stay even more enjoyable inside. With 3200 sq ft, Carson's Cottage is ready to have anyone from a couple to big groups up to 15 people!

The space

After driving into the heavily wooded 5 acres that Carson's Cottage sits on you will be welcomed by a bright, airy and cozy space set up for everyone to enjoy. There is plenty of seats for everyone to gather and plenty of space for people to curl up with a good book.

Available for our guests is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, range, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There is also a BBQ and small kitchen appliances available to use.

2 and a half hour drive from the GTA and Ottawa. Ample space for parking.

Other things to note

Since Carson’s Cottage is a brand new build, we ask our guests to bare with us while we finish up our landscaping. It is a big job and hope everyone can be understanding and dress accordingly to the weather conditions. When it rains, it pours! So bring your boots and enjoy the sounds and smells it has to offer.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 5 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a sofa bed.

Winter Cottage Getaway

Out 2 families try to getaway to a cottage for some winter fun every year. Carson’s Cottage is an amazing locale with a picturesque lake within easy strolling distance (or easy viewing distance from the hot tub!). Can only imagine how lovely it must be in the other seasons!There were plenty of sledding locations around the property as well at a nearby location that the owner cued us in about.We ran into a few glitches with wifi and the bbq but the owner was easy to contact and very prompt to reply.

Exceptional Getaway with Outstanding Hospitality

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage to ring in 2025 with our extended family. The location was perfect—picturesque, peaceful, and the ideal winter getaway. The accommodations were outstanding, offering plenty of space, comfort, and all the amenities needed for a seamless stay, especially for a group our size (15 people).What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality of the owner, Brandon. He was incredibly responsive, graciously accommodating all our needs and requests throughout our stay. After we left, we realized we had forgotten some items, and Brandon went above and beyond to arrange shipment at his own cost—an incredibly kind gesture that speaks volumes about his dedication to guest satisfaction. Our entire group had a fantastic time, and we’re already looking forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch cottage retreat!

Amazing place

The property was gorgeous. The house spacious and well stocked with utensils, pots etc. Beds were comfortable and the views were amazing. Loved the games room. lots of kayaks etc to enjoy the lake.

Great weekend for the boys

Location is amazing and lots of amenities. If it’s raining you have lots to do inside and lots of comfortable sleeping options. Great cooking tools to use as well. Brandon is easy to deal with and very thorough on communication.
