Wonderful wonderful wonderful location. Gorgeous and peaceful and pretty private (just occasional people walking on the beach). It’s really an oasis. Hot tub needed cleaning and better care though. But ready to come back for the view, peace, and quiet!

Lake, sun and friends

This home has everything you need for the perfect Great Lakes getaway. It was an ideal spot to unwind with friends and dogs — they had an absolute blast swimming in the lake! The water was surprisingly warm in the shallow area near the river, and we spent hours just relaxing in chairs set right in the water after kayaking. The private beach is truly secluded — we rarely saw anyone else. It was the perfect setup for a refreshing cold plunge in the lake followed by a quick rinse and a soak in the hot tub. We spent most of our time in the cozy screened-in porch, which was the heart of the stay. I’ll definitely be coming back with my pups!

Beautiful view, good service and internet, but damp

We paid top price for this place and it had a beautiful view, but the house was average. Unfortunately we arrived on a rare hot, humid and then rainy day and everything seemed damp. Without AC there was no way to change that. The downstairs bed is small and seems older. That with the combination of the warm damp air was unpleasant. We moved upstairs to separate beds the next night but the mosquitos were bad up there. Very large and nice sleeping space though. The view is beautiful and the screen porch is lovely but for what we paid, this was the least nice beach house we’ve stayed at in the Manistique area—while also being the most expensive (the price could be due to getting their last open slot for the summer). The service and internet were great and it was very quiet. Lots of flat beach for dogs and kids and fields/forest as well. Needs a deep clean, new screens for doors and windows, and fans in every area if there is no AC.

Amazing

We stayed at this property for 7+days. The property was well maintained, the house was adorable and homey. The view and beach were beautiful. It seemed like we were alone due to the amount of woods and beach front. Would highly recommend. About 20 min from town and a really nice grocery store.

Beautiful beach getaway!

Great communication. Everything as described in listing. The beach was beautiful. We enjoyed the sunrise in the morning and bonfires at night. Close to several golf courses, Kitchitikipi, waterfall hikes, and Fayette State park.

Second year and it was great

We stayed here last summer and booked again for this summer. It was lovely- the cottage is quiet and easy to stay in. It was hotter than we expected and I picked up an extra box fan for the cottage- it was really nice to have that one running on the main floor on the very low wind days we had (like weirdly no wind days- after the first I ran into town and grabbed a fan for the first floor to move the air). The washer did have a leak in it- which we discovered late in the week and I sent in an email to the management company. I don't know if anything was done about it but I would hate for the bathroom to have any damage if the leak goes unattended. The cottage is too cute. I realized about 3 hours into our drive home that I forgot to remove our ice cream in the freezer- I am so sorry. I do recommend that others give this place a try- we have had two lovely weeks here (in 2022 and 2023)

Tropical Paradise Without the Heat!

Fantastic getaway where you feel like the rest of the world has disappeared. Absolutely love the secluded setting with a phenomenal view. We didn’t want to leave.

The beach is everything

We had a glorious stay over the 4th of July. The property was as described. Could have been a little cleaner. The beach was worth the drive as it is gorgeous and there seems to be nobody around for miles. We loved it. Appreciated all the toys and activities left in the garage.

Relaxation and seclusion

Shoreline Oasis is a wonderful retreat from hectic lifestyles. Our group of 4 adults and 2 dogs loved our stay. The instructions for getting there were good and I am glad we did not check in at night or we may still be wandering. Upon arrival we all commented on how clean the rental was. It was large with great outdoor spaces so we all had enough room to relax in. The screened in porch was our favorite feature. The rental company was excellent with communication. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Beach

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our stay at Shoreline Oasis. It was amazing to be able to walk out the front door and be on the beach of Lake Michigan. The location was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect. Enjoyed sitting on the many outdoor chairs and on the screened-in porch listening to the waves. Great amenities were an added bonus. Everyone used the kayaks, outdoor shower, and fire pit.

a peaceful place

This was the perfect location for our stay. The property is what makes this place. The beach is expansive and private. We seen lots of wildlife. There was a porcupine that walked by one night. A family of geese that walked by with 7 babies every evening. We also seen an eagle flying in and out of the nearby trees on several occassions. The proximity to several state parks was also a plus for us.

I can’t even believe a place like this exists !! I’ve lived in northern Michigan for 20 years Haven’t been to the UP for 15 I love remote But this !!! Amazing Remote cozy comfort and beyond My dogs & I were in heaven Convenience to Manistique was great !! I’m going back!!
