First time in Philippines and first hotel I stayed at on this trip. The staff is exemplary and very responsive. Dinner in their roof restaurant was okay with what we ended up choosing because the other four items we picked were not available. Also, if the hotel is crowded you will run out hot water after 7:30am. Welcome to the Philippines as some of these issues are to be expected, especially for the amazing great value of this property.

I don’t understand why other reviews of this hotel are so high. Here are some of the issues I had: 1)I had to kill three cockroaches in my room; 2) the walls and doors are paper thin (you’ll hear people outside very easily); 3) the traffic around the hotel is insane so good luck sleeping without earplugs; 4) my bathroom floor was dirty during my entire stay; 5) the pool did not look clean (other people staying gave one look at it and walked away as well). This is no proper “3-star” hotel - at most, it’s a 2-star hotel. On the plus side, the staff are very kind and friendly, and the breakfast is pretty good. However, I recommend staying in a 4 or 5-star hotel in the BGC area instead of here. The area is cleaner, has less traffic, and the hotel will likely be MUCH better.
