The television in our room did not work properly. The technician came promptly to fix the problem BUT was not listening to the problems we were reporting. After spending half an hour supposedly fixing the problem, ge left BUT THE PROBLEM WAS COMPLETELY UNRESOLVED. We also informed the front desk about problems with the shampoo and body wash. The clerk said that he would have the matter resolved quickly. 36 hours later, IT WAS STILL NOT RESOLVED. Our room was quiet. The temperature regulator didn’t work properly, leaving us considerably warmer than we wanted even though it was actually chilly outside.

The property photographs nice online. The reality, the rooms themselves are a bit dated. There were kids running up and down the hall at all hours of the day and night, including running up and down the stairs. There was a persistent scent of pot at the entrance to the wing I was staying in. There were people hanging around the parking lot that seemed to be lingering with no apparent connection to the property. In the room adjacent to mine, I could hear the TV and conversations the people were having. Overall, I was disappointed with the property and my experience.

We stayed here as an overnight before a backpacking trip. Wonderful staff and beautiful common spaces. We were booked in a block of rooms with extremely thin walls/floors/ceilings. We could hear dresser drawers opening and closing between rooms in all directions. Made sleep a little hard. Other blocks did not seem to have such thin floors.

I have stayed at this hotel a lot, and the new updated venue is a lot nicer than it used to be. A lot of upgrades to the hotel inside and out. The older part that I usually stay in, could use an upgrade still. The rooms I usually get look the same. All in all its a nice place to stay for extended time as long as you get the upgraded suite with the kitchen. Also close enough to walk to other restaurants, or drive if you like.

The shower was not laid out well. The shelf where the bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body soap was very high. I am 5'4" and the shelf was even with my head. I was unable to pump the body soap onto my wash cloth. I had to set the bottle on the floor of the shower. The water pressure was very low. I didn't wash my hair because it would be too difficult to rinse it. The sink was one of those trendy glass bowls sitting on the counter. Again at my height it was awkward to lean over the bowl to wash my teeth, etc. In the bedroom there was only one plug to charge phone, watch, iPad. There was another electrical plug in the bathroom but because the sink was awkward to use there was a lot of water splashed near the plug so it wasn't safe to charge items there. The was a safe in the room but it was on the top shelf of the closet and I couldn't reach it. Not sure why it was so high. Great location and pet friendly.

POOR SERVICE

I'll start by saying the location is good and the rooms were clean. Now the issues started to arise when the TV stopped working, or was unable to connect to the network to basically be able to use the TV at all. So I attempted to connect to the wifi using the password they provided and it never connected. After I realized it wouldn't connect, I attempted to call the front desk with the phones in the room, but the phone didn't work either! After attempting to get the phone to work, I realized that wouldn't work either so I called the front desk from my cell phone, and no one answered! So after none of the amenities I paid for worked, I decided to walk to the front desk which I had to wait 15-20 minutes before getting any help because they were dealing with ANOTHER ISSUE with another guest (booking I believe). After I told the guy at the desk the TV or phone wasn't working, he said the internet wasn't working for him either which is strange because he was able to help the person before me with something that most definitely needed internet. So he just apologized and didn't even offer to fix any of the issues. He also never followed up so overall I felt unvalued as a customer.

The property had a comfortable room but was obviously older with some updating. What made it outstanding was the amenities - lawn chairs facing the mountains, a lounge area with a fireplace and wine bar, ski/bike rental on sight, top rated food truck on property
